Outside the Bright Moon Tower, Wei Mao and Zhu Ting exchanged farewells with a bow. Wei Mao then led Lu Bei to a waiting carriage. Lu Bei stood behind Wei Mao, grinning and winking at Zhu Kui, deliberately stoking the other man's fury. One hundred million experience points could not simply be written off; he had to squeeze every last bit of value out of this. Zhu Kui was so enraged his face turned black, but since his uncle, Zhu Ting, was right there, he could only stare at his feet, mentally pummeling Lu Bei to a pulp. In his inner world, Lu Bei was not only killed by him but his corpse was whipped hundreds of times over. As they were about to leave, Lu Bei wanted to deliver one final jab, but catching sight of Zhu Ting’s benevolent smile, he wisely held his tongue and obediently followed Wei Mao away. This Prefect had a gentle, amiable smile—a sure sign he was not a good person. It wasn't that Lu Bei was a coward; it was just that, as a good person, he should clearly distinguish himself from the bad. Once his level was higher and the line between good and evil became blurred, he would be better equipped to deal with the likes of them.
