Everyone knew the Heavenly Beast was the guardian beast of the Human Realm's Heavenly Dao, but little did they know that what it guarded was not the Heavenly Dao, but four heavenly tripods. Aside from him, this secret was known only to the Heavenly Venerable's four disciples.
The Human Realm was originally an extraterrestrial meteorite. When the Creator seized the Primordial Mother Qi, it was destroyed and shattered into four large pieces along with numerous fragments. Afterwards, the Creator used creation power to forge four tripods known as the Primordial Heavenly Tripods. The four tripods mutually attracted one another, merging into one.
