A practitioner has an original physical body and a Dharma body, as well as a Divine Soul and a Primordial Spirit. Becoming the Avatar of the Heavenly Dao does not require using up all of them; sacrificing the Dharma body and the Primordial Spirit is enough. Of course, simply making sacrifices is not enough to become the Heavenly Dao; a crucial origin of the Heavenly Dao is also required.
Once someone becomes the Heavenly Dao, their life soul transforms into a Heavenly Dao soul.
Zhou Chuan now completely understood why the Samsara Eye saw the Old Turtle's samsara imprint as so special—flickering, constantly changing. Due to the effect of the power of samsara, the Old Turtle's manifested life soul was incomplete. An incomplete soul cannot be reincarnated; colloquially, it is called a lonely soul or a remnant soul.
