Before this, there was no such thing as a God Clan; there were only heavenly soldiers and divine generals. First came the divine position, then one cultivated the divine ego. Once the divine ego reached its peak, one cultivated the divine body. The divine body served as a vessel to contain the deity, allowing divine power to flow endlessly. This was the system of the gods.
Deities were crucial within this system; without a divine body, divine power would quickly exhaust itself. Without a deity, it was like the Qi Condensation stage lacking a spiritual sea.
