Danger lurked everywhere in Linsen Fog. The group stepped cautiously into the forest, which was shrouded in a thick mist as dense as a solid white wall. Their vision was severely restricted, as if blindfolded, and the visibility was agonizingly low. The damp air wrapped tightly around their bodies, and the sticky fog clung to them. Every tendril of mist felt like countless cold hands sliding across their skin, trying to drag them down into an endless abyss. That cold, slippery sensation made them shudder involuntarily. Every step felt like playing a horror game. The surroundings were eerily quiet, with only the sound of their own rapid breathing echoing loudly in their ears, as if right beside them. The crunch of boots on fallen leaves sounded exceptionally abrupt in the stillness. This quietness made things all the more hair-raising, as though something might leap out at any second.
