Chapter 6

Weiwei's body entered the Karma Space. Last time it was only her consciousness, but this time it was her physical body, making the sensations much more intense.
She went to check the Lotus Pond first and found that some lotuses had bloomed, emitting a fragrant aroma. In novels, space spring water was always immensely overpowered, so she scooped up a handful of the pool water and drank it. Instantly, she felt filled with strength, and the Spiritual Power within her body felt much more abundant.
Ever since entering the space, she had felt that the surrounding Spiritual Energy was much denser. After cultivating for a while, her Divine Sense could now detect things within a hundred meters. She wondered if the flow of time inside the space was the same as in the outside world.
Weiwei decided to verify the time flow within the space. She took out the hourglass she carried with her, noted the time she entered the space, and began to cultivate intently.
Not knowing how much time had passed, she felt her Spiritual Power had once again noticeably improved, so she stopped and checked the hourglass. To her pleasant surprise, several hours had passed inside the space, while the hourglass showed that less than half an hour had passed in the outside world.
With such an overpowered time dilation, Weiwei became even more driven to cultivate. Just as she was about to plunge herself wholeheartedly into cultivation again, she suddenly heard a faint sound coming from by the Lotus Pond.
She grew vigilant, instantly sweeping her Divine Sense over there, only to be surprised to find a colorful lotus seedpod flashing with five-colored light by the edge of the Lotus Pond. Weiwei touched it with her hand, and a piece of information surfaced in her mind: The Five-Color Lotus Seedpod. When mature, it flashes with five-colored light. Plucking and consuming its lotus seeds allows the five Spirit Roots in one's body to grow rapidly and accelerates Forming the Golden Core.
"Forming the Golden Core—could this mean forming a Golden Core?" Weiwei felt a surge of wild joy in her heart. In the cultivation world, forming a Golden Core was an important watershed; once successful, one's strength would undergo a qualitative leap. She carefully plucked the Five-Color Lotus Seedpod and counted: there were five lotus seeds in total, emitting an alluring glow. Weiwei did not consume them immediately, deciding instead to first consolidate the results of her previous cultivation.
She calmed her mind once more, circulating her Spiritual Power to expel the impurities from her body bit by bit. When she felt her condition reach its peak, she picked up a lotus seed and put it into her mouth. The lotus seed melted on her tongue, and a majestic wave of Spiritual Power instantly exploded within her body. Her five Spirit Roots grew wildly, just as if they had been watered with celestial dew.
Weiwei clenched her teeth, guiding this surge of Spiritual Power with all her might to make it circulate orderly through her body. Time ticked away second by second, and she felt herself growing closer and closer to Forming the Golden Core.
Suddenly, a sharp pain erupted within her body, as if something was about to burst out. Weiwei endured the pain with sheer willpower and persisted. Finally, with a soft "pop," a golden pill formed inside her body—she had successfully formed her Golden Core!
Weiwei was overjoyed. She sat cross-legged by the Lotus Pond and circulated her energy for several more cycles to consolidate her Cultivation Base before opening her eyes. After forming her Golden Core, her Divine Sense could see even further; she was actually able to view the entire panoramic layout of the Villa. She decided she would cultivate inside the space from now on.
She hadn't had time to look closely at the interior of the Bamboo House last time. Standing up, she noticed that the mist around the Lotus Pond and the Bamboo House had thinned out considerably, and a medicinal garden had also appeared. In the distant extension, the faint silhouettes of mountain ranges were visible. It seemed the space expanded as her Cultivation Base grew, and the Five-Color Lotus Seedpod was perhaps a gift prepared by the space now that she was capable of cultivating—what a user-friendly space.
Weiwei pushed open the door of the Bamboo House and went to check the bedroom first. She saw that the bedroom was entirely paved with spirit stones, and the purple stone bed beneath the purple gauze curtains emitted a soft purple glow. As Weiwei sat down upon it, another piece of information surfaced in her mind: The Purple Spirit Bed. Forged from top-grade Purple Spirit Stones, meditating or sleeping on it allows one to absorb Spiritual Energy even faster and can detoxify all poisons in the world. Dual Cultivation upon it can also increase one's Cultivation Base.
Dual Cultivation? At the mere thought of doing Dual Cultivation with Wuchen on this bed, Weiwei's face turned red. For two whole days, Wuchen hadn't returned, and she missed him a little.
Meanwhile, the Northern Wasteland King, who was currently fighting the Demon Race, was also thinking of his little fiancée at that moment, wondering how Weiwei's cultivation was progressing and if she was missing him.
"Swift victory!" he instructed his subordinates.
The Northern Wasteland King, Wuchen, led his soldiers in a bloody battle. Fierce and formidable though the Demon Race was, under his leadership, they retreated step by step. He kept Weiwei in his heart the entire time, eager to end the battle quickly and return to her side.
At last, the battle ended in victory for the human race. Wuchen had no time to celebrate before spurring his horse at top speed back to the Villa.
Weiwei had cultivated in the space for a few more days, and her Cultivation Base grew increasingly stable. Today, just as she got up from the Purple Spirit Bed, she suddenly sensed that Wuchen had returned.
Overflowing with joy, she exited the space and ran to the entrance of the Villa. There she saw Wuchen arriving on a Spirit Beast, looking travel-worn and dusty. Traces of the battle's gunpowder smoke still lingered on him, but his gaze was exceptionally bright.
With reddened eyes, Weiwei threw herself straight into his arms. "You're finally back." Wuchen hugged her tightly. "Did you miss me?" Weiwei nodded, her face blushing.
The two embraced for a long time. Afterward, looking at Weiwei and sensing the change in her aura, Wuchen said in pleasant surprise, "You've formed your Golden Core!"
"Mm-hmm, I've formed my Golden Core. Brother Wuchen, I'll take you somewhere in a moment." Weiwei knew Wuchen possessed a space, but she had some questions she wanted to ask him.
