Jessica: "Tsk, things aren't looking too good. They're trapped inside that shipping container cabin and can't get out."
Ethel: "What about the others? Can you see what's happening?"
Jessica: "Negative. From our position, we can only see the container cabin, nothing else."
Ethel: "Troublesome."
Meanwhile, inside the Wastewater Treatment Plant:
"Last chance! Cease resistance, lay down your weapons, and come out to surrender, or you can say your last prayers right now."
"In your dreams!"
Ethel: "Muse, you and Jessica cover that gap over there. Fania, Lucy, Lyle, you're coming in with me."
Lyle: "Does Captain have a plan?"
Ethel selectively ignored Lyle's remark.
Ethel: "The two of you will follow me and climb over the wall by that wastewater storage tank. Lucy, you and Fania head to the second floor of the treatment plant and cover the windows facing the container cabin. Lyle, you're coming with me to flank them from behind."
Lyle: "That's it? Just like that?"
Ethel: "Brothers inside, can you hear me?"
"Who are you?"
Ethel: "We're from Peregrine Squad. That old hag Keira sent us to extract you from Northridge."
"Thank God, reinforcements are finally here!"
Ethel: "Can you give us a situation report?"
"I can only say it's grim. Those bastards outside are dead set on taking us alive, so they're just camping out here, swapping shifts every so often to wear us down."
Ethel: "We're currently outside the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Listen up: once my team members get inside the plant, they'll signal you. When you see the signal, find good cover and stay down—we won't be able to look after you."
"Copy that."
Ethel hung up the comms and turned to give the order.
"Operation start."
The group moved out to execute their assigned plans.
Inside the container cabin:
"The extraction team is here. Get behind the sandbags now—this sheet metal won't stop bullets."
On the other side, Ethel and Lyle stealthily made their way behind the wall, while Fania and Lucy positioned their sniper rifles at the windows, waiting for the signal.
Ethel: "Fire."
The moment Ethel gave the word, Fania squeezed the trigger, cleanly taking out a Scav's head.
Hearing the gunshot, the Scavs instantly descended into chaos. Not giving them time to react, Ethel ordered Muse and Jessica to provide cover as they moved in to rescue the trapped Black Gold Operatives.
Lyle: "Team, report in. Engaging targets."
Jessica: "Targets closing in. Requesting suppressing fire."
Fania: "Drop your weapons, or things are going to get ugly."
Ethel: "Encountered enemies. Fire at will."
Muse: "Advance! I repeat, push the attack with everything we've got!"
Lucy: "Is that all they've got?"
The battle ended quickly, and all the Scavs in the Wastewater Treatment Plant were eliminated.
Ethel: "Alright, you can come out now."
"Thank you so much for coming."
Ethel: "Don't mention it. Your ride should be here soon. Pack up, you're going home."
"Home? That might be a luxury for me."
Ethel: "My apologies."
"It's fine."
The Black Gold Operatives from the Wastewater Treatment Plant were extracted.
Lyle: "So, Captain, what's our next move? Are we heading straight for Northridge Hotel, bypassing it for the Hiking Service Station, or going to North Village?"
