Ariel: "(Gesturing) Move in, disperse, and watch your corners." Muse: "(Gesturing) Copy that."
With operational orders given, Ariel and Muse flanked left and right, raising their rifles as they rapidly closed in on the White Wolf Company members, promptly gifting them each a JFK-style hole in the head at close range.
Meanwhile, inside the bedroom, Dopp clutched an F2000, cold sweat pouring down his back. The gunfire outside was gradually thinning out, telling him that the White Wolf guards and his own men were dwindling. Dopp and his White Wolf adjutant felt their hearts leap into their throats.
Unlike the fierce firefight Ariel and her team were waging at the Villa, the four Black Gold operatives in the forest cabin felt a glimmer of hope as the dense gunfire outside subsided into sporadic pops.
Black Gold Operative 1: "You guys rest up here. I'm going to go check and see if headquarters sent people for us." Black Gold Operative 2: "No way, that's too dangerous. What if it's not people from headquarters?" Black Gold Operative 1: "We have to go out and look no matter what. Even if it's not our extraction team, we need to find some food."
With that, Black Gold Operative 1 stood up and walked out. Holding an H4 with hardly any ammunition left, he sprinted all the way to Lyle and Lucy's position.
Lyle: "(Fires two shots into the ground to force Black Gold Operative 1 back)" Black Gold Operative 1: "Hey, don't shoot, I mean no harm, I'm just looking for some food." Lyle: "You better get out of here right now, I don't have time to chat. Wait, where'd you get that uniform?" Black Gold Operative 1: "Are you guys Black Gold operators too?" Lyle: "Don't try to cozy up to me. Where would outsiders even come from in a place like this? That Task Force isn't coming here anytime soon anyway, so get the hell out of my sight." Black Gold Operative 1: "Calm down, my name is Timothy Wright, and my commanding officer is Randall Fisher. (Tosses his dog tags over and drops back down to the ground) Here are my identification tags, you can check them for yourself. Cough, cough... If you guys really are Black Gold personnel, I'm personally asking you to help us." Lyle: "(Holding his rifle in one hand, he draws an MP9 and cautiously picks up the ID tag with his free hand to take a look) You're the missing operative from Randall's squad?" Timothy Wright: "Thank goodness, you know Captain Randall?" Lyle: "Hold on a second, we need to verify this." Lyle: "Hey, hey, hey, stop checking what color the captain's underwear is. Come verify if this guy's ID tag is real or fake." Lucy: "It's rare we get to look this openly, I'm not passing this up." Lyle: "Just hurry up." Lucy: "(Leaves the drone on autopilot for target acquisition) Hand it over, let me see."
With that, Lucy took the ID tag Lyle handed her, pulled out her portable verification device, inserted the tag, and began the scan.
The machine quickly displayed the results. Lucy: "The name matches, though the system shows you're already dead. Let Randall have a look. Here's my communicator, Lyle, you make the call. I'm going back to providing support for the Captain and the others." Ariel: "I just want to know what the two of you are doing? Hurry up and figure out how many people are holed up in the room this old coot is hiding in, and whether Dopp is in there." Lucy: "You heard her. Call Randall yourself."
