Inside the TV Station, they handed Dopp's token coin and Randall's four subordinates back to Randall.
Randall: "Thank you for bringing my guys back. I have a batch of equipment here I can let you have at a discount."
Ariel: "So generous?"
Randall: "Just a bunch of firearms and armor. Anyway, you can take the coin back. Thanks to your help, the TV Station has captured nearly 95% of the territory. The remaining bit still has White Wolf Company people, but they're nothing to worry about. As a result, the TV Station pass is useless, so I took it down."
Ariel: "Why do I feel like I got the short end of the stick? Oh well, want to consider treating us to dinner tonight? It took a lot of effort for us to save these operatives of yours."
Timothy Wright: "Commander, I can't argue with that, because we were practically starving—the four of us devoured six people's worth of rations in one go."
Randall: "No problem at all. I bought a few bottles of good wine earlier, I'll break them out for you all to properly taste tonight."
Ariel (taking out a stack of Columbia bills): "Don't forget to buy juice for Muse, she likes pineapple juice."
Ariel left after saying that. Once the room was empty, Randall placed a signal jammer on the table, then pulled a piece of paper from the money Ariel had given him.
"Though I'm most reluctant to believe this fact, plenty of evidence points to the strong possibility that Lyle is one of White Wolf's people."
Randall stared at those words and fell into deep thought.
After a long while, Randall spoke.
Randall: "I'm just as reluctant to believe she could be with the White Wolf Company, but judging from the things found in her room and how panicked she was trying to kick people out, there is indeed a huge chance she's one of them. Heh, just thinking about fighting alongside a wolf in sheep's clothing gives me an inexplicable chill."
...
In Randall's dorm, Ariel handed the spiked drink to Lyle. After drinking it, Lyle slumped over the table and passed out cold.
The others rushed forward to check on her, leaving only Ariel and Randall looking somewhat reluctant.
When Lyle woke up, she found herself tied securely to the table.
Lyle: "What are you guys doing? Is this some kind of BDSM game?"
Ariel: "If you tell the truth right now, I'll play along with you to your heart's content."
Lyle: "What on earth are you talking about?"
Hearing this, Ariel said nothing more, unfolded a telegram, and tossed it in front of Lyle.
Ariel: "I've suspected a lot of people, but I never doubted you. I simply refused to believe you could be with White Wolf. When I first heard the news, I even thought someone was deliberately framing you. Too bad that was just my own wishful thinking. Do you have any idea how long it took me to accept this fact?"
Fania: "Captain, what are you even talking about? Hurry up and untie us and Lyle! What is going on here?"
Lyle: "Enough, stop talking. I admit it, I am the mole planted by White Wolf."
Jessica: "What?!"
Muse: "How is this possible? Sister Lyle can't possibly be a White Wolf person!"
Lyle: "How is it not possible? If you also knew you still had family left in this world, but they were being held hostage, what choice would you make? When I found out I still had a younger sister alive in this world, but she was being held hostage, beaten, and used as leverage by the White Wolf Company, I chose to become one of them. I had no other choice."
Ariel: "How many times do I have to tell you to pay attention in class?"
"Sister..."
A timid voice called out from the room. Hearing it, Lyle looked up and saw her younger sister, who had supposedly been held hostage by the White Wolf Company.
Ariel: "The White Wolf Company is pretty good at getting something for nothing. They just grabbed a girl who looks a bit like your sister, beat her up, and recorded a video to trick you."
Lyle: "What? Why are you here? What is going on?"
Ariel: "This sister of yours was picked up out of a dumpster by Randall a while ago. Earlier, he asked me to get some of your hair to run an identification test—you two are full biological sisters."
At that, Lyle fell silent.
Ariel walked over and untied Lyle.
Lyle: "Huh? Captain, you're not going to kill me?"
Ariel: "Play too many video games, did you? I'm simply getting back at you for hitting on me earlier. You haven't caused any losses to Black Gold, so I have no reason to kill you."
Lyle and everyone else: "Huh?"
