Lin Yu and Lu Xinyan swallowed a large number of healing pills inside the cave, barely surviving the night. The roars of the Nether Demonic Wolf gradually faded into the distance, yet Lu Xinyan's flame of life grew dimmer and weaker, like a candle flickering in the wind. Her body had grown ice-cold from excessive blood loss. One of Lin Yu's eyes was a bloody mess, covered in stains; although the bleeding had stopped, his face looked as though it were being torn apart by agonizing pain. His consciousness drifted unsteadily between clarity and haze. The first ray of morning light struggled to pierce through the heavy gloom of the Tianmo Forbidden Land, casting its glow upon the giant boulder at the cave entrance. Lin Yu slowly opened his remaining single eye, filled with exhaustion and bewilderment. He knew he had to find a way out as soon as possible, or else nothing awaited them but death. Struggling to his feet, Lin Yu used the Asura Underworld Saber to support his body. Finding that Lu Xinyan was not by his side, he took step after step deeper into the cave. The interior was suffused with a damp and rotting stench, and eerie phosphorescence flickered along the walls, as if countless eyes were staring at him from the darkness. As he ventured deeper, a mysterious and ancient aura washed over him, making his heart race uncontrollably.
