The Frozen Grand Canyon was filled with freezing poison, which her current body could not withstand, so she had to crawl ashore first.
At a bend in the river, timing her moment precisely, Feng Wu rolled her lithe body off the log and into the swift current, swimming with all her might toward the bank.
Because it was not far from the waterfall, the current was turbulent, and swimming sideways meant Feng Wu was nearly swept away by the river several times.
Swimming head down and pushing through her exhaustion, Feng Wu finally crawled onto the riverbank, though at that moment she was panting heavily, her face pale.
She raised her gaze to look around.
Flowers bloomed everywhere, vibrant and multicolored, filling the air with a rich fragrance...
Where was this?
The map in Feng Wu's mind flipped rapidly through its pages. Very quickly, she locked onto a specific area on the map, causing her complexion to turn somewhat pale.
This was the territory of the Large-Horned Blood Bees! How could she be so unlucky as to stumble in here?!
Danger lurked everywhere in the Frozen Forest, and this place was the most perilous spot in the entire fourth ring!
Feng Wu had once witnessed with her own eyes how a party of explorers entered, only to be gnawed down into piles of grim white bones in less than a minute—a terrifying and shocking sight that left a lasting impression!
There was a queen within the Large-Horned Blood Bee colony, and Feng Wu had always wanted to capture her because using her to refine the Nine-Turn Spirit-Returning Pill would yield twice the result with half the effort. But... thinking of that massive, pitch-black swarm of Large-Horned Blood Bees, Feng Wu subconsciously shook her head.
She would just use a white jade bee queen as a substitute instead; she really could not afford to provoke the Large-Horned Blood Bee Queen.
Not wanting to provoke this terrifying swarm of Large-Horned Blood Bees, Feng Wu prepared to keep her presence low and slip away from the area quietly.
In fact, that was exactly what she did.
Not far away came the buzzing sound of the Large-Horned Blood Bees. Feng Wu hid behind a large tree and raised her head to take a look.
She caught sight of a figure in a red robe!

There was actually someone here?
And they were even wearing a red robe?!
Their nerve was truly quite bold!
Feng Wu's nimble hands gripped the trunk of the tree, and in two or three moves she scrambled up to the top, looking down from her high vantage point. The sight instantly brought a wave of joy to her face!
For she saw that the red-robed figure not far ahead was currently drawing away the vast majority of the Large-Horned Blood Bees!
