The Youran Teahouse is nestled in a quiet alley within the Second Ring Road district. A weathered wooden plaque hangs above its antique-style lintel, the characters for "Youran" on it now somewhat blurred and indistinct.
Hu Yuan stands at the teahouse entrance, takes a deep breath, pushes open the door, and steps inside.
The interior is dim, with several rosewood round tables arranged in an orderly fashion, and a faint fragrance of tea lingers in the air. Although it is lunchtime, the teahouse is completely deserted, giving it an eerie atmosphere.
