The Earth Dragon Carriage is a somewhat lackluster mode of transportation. For those who are truly tight on funds, walking or renting a regular horse-drawn carriage offers better value. As for wealthy merchants and nobles, they would rather travel in vehicles pulled by century- or even millennial-level Soul Beasts, which are both more powerful and safer. Because of this, the Earth Dragon Carriage’s primary service area is often within the city; the broad, thick hooves of the Earth Dragons provide great comfort, and passengers on short-distance trips are generally less price-sensitive.
Compared to the exhaustion Huo Yuhao felt when he traveled alone to the Star Dou Great Forest before, the steady, sturdy Earth Dragon made a significant difference on this journey. Unless they encountered particularly rugged or muddy roads, the experience was quite pleasant for both Huo Yuhao and Huo Yun'er for most of the trip.
