Dinghou Avenue in Mingdu is located within a low-lying residential area in the western suburbs of Mingdu. Although called an avenue, it is actually just a narrow alley.
The western suburbs have always been where the lowest-class citizens of Mingdu live. There are few towering buildings here, only large swathes of low-rise civilian houses. Further to the west lies the Sun Moon Mountain Range, composed of sweeping stone mountains.
On this Dinghou Avenue, there is only one small restaurant, covering a mere hundred square meters or so with just four or five tables. Far from being luxurious, calling it plain would even be a compliment. It merely serves some of the most ordinary meals.
