"What has been will be again; what has been done will be done again!"
"There is no barrier that cannot be broken, and no enemy that cannot be defeated!"
"Perhaps, the true nature of the soul is bloodthirst!"
"Everyone has moments of hesitation! Hesitation is not terrifying; what is terrifying is failing to make a choice while stuck in that hesitation!"
On the outskirts of the Star Dou Great Forest, a handsome young man with blue hair stood still on the path.
Looking at the unfamiliar primeval forest surrounding him, Long Jian knitted his brows.
"Don't tell me I've transmigrated again?"
He was originally a young man from Blue Star. While watching the classic series *Super Beast Armed*, he had somehow transmigrated directly into the world of *Super Beast Armed* and became Long Jian. After defeating the final boss, Ghost King, he had expected to return to his own world. But looking at this scene, it seemed he had transmigrated once more.
Furthermore...
Long Jian scanned the blue armor on his body and murmured, "Did my powers from the *Super Beast Armed* world carry over with me as well...?"
Long Jian opened the Genisys Lock on his wrist. With a crisp sound, he saw his current status displayed on the device.
【Interspatial Energy: 3.5 Black Holes】
【Vitality: 100%】
【Skills: Cold Shadow Decimation, Ice Palm, Dragon Battle Flash Chariot】
【Super Beast: Dragon Battle God】
"Is this my peak state...?" Long Jian closed the Genisys Lock and studied the forest. "I have no idea what kind of world this is. I just hope it isn't some high-level cultivation world..."
Long Jian had no way of knowing how the strength he possessed in the *Super Beast Armed* world ranked in this new world.
Suddenly, a crisp sound of footsteps echoed through the jungle.
Long Jian looked up.
A beautiful young woman dressed in black appeared, moving nimbly through the forest, and within moments, she was within ten meters of him.
The girl noticed Long Jian ahead. Seeing his face, her beautiful eyes flickered with surprise, but she did not linger. The pursuers behind her gave her no time to stop.
"Leave this place quickly!" the girl said urgently.
She was being hunted. Her pursuers had likely followed her right to this spot. If they saw Long Jian, there was no telling if they might attack him as well.
Long Jian looked at the girl's breathless, hurried appearance. Her body was covered in scrapes, and her black leather outfit was torn in several places. It was clear she was being hunted down.
Long Jian frowned slightly.
"Dragon Battle Flash Chariot!"
With a low shout, he lifted his left hand, and the Genisys Lock on his wrist flashed with light. The "Dragon Battle Flash Chariot" instantly appeared beside him with a roar.
Long Jian climbed onto the chariot and called back, "Get on, quick!"
The girl’s pupils contracted slightly, stunned by his actions. Seeing her dazed, Long Jian urged again, "Hurry, get on!"
The girl snapped out of her shock. She glanced behind her and could already see the figures of those hunting her. Taking a deep breath, she mimicked Long Jian and sat on the back of the Dragon Battle Flash Chariot.
*BOOM—*
A roar that shook the forest erupted, and the Dragon Battle Flash Chariot shot out like an arrow from a bow, covering tens of meters in an instant.
The girl lost her balance for a second and nearly fell off. In her panic, she instinctively wrapped her arms around Long Jian from behind. Her large breasts pressed against the armor on his back, though, cushioned by his suit, Long Jian couldn't feel much. The girl, however, turned bright red, shyly lowering her head.
The wind whistled in her ears, and the trees blurred as they sped past.
"Such incredible speed! What is this thing..." she wondered, astonished.
Before long, the girl saw the edge of the forest.
Back where the two had met, a dozen men and women were standing. They looked at the tire tracks on the ground, silent, their gazes shifting to a beautiful woman in their midst.
The woman bore a five-or-six-part resemblance to the girl in black, especially in her explosive figure, which was every bit as impressive as the girl’s.
"Young Miss, we are already near the border of the Heaven Dou Empire. Should we continue the pursuit?" a man asked in a low voice.
"Let’s go back," the woman said coldly, turning to leave.
Meanwhile, Long Jian had driven the Dragon Battle Flash Chariot out of the forest and reached a village. The speed of the chariot slowed, finally coming to a stop beside a small stream.
"It should be safe here," Long Jian said, straightening up and speaking with his back to the girl.
Hearing this, the woman glanced back and let out a sigh of relief. She gracefully lifted her long, beautiful legs and stepped off the Dragon Battle Flash Chariot.
"Thank you for saving me," the girl said with a slight bow, her gratitude evident, though the blush on her cheeks had yet to fade.
Long Jian shook his head indifferently and stepped off the chariot himself.
The environment felt foreign to him. He sighed and turned to the girl. "I'm Long Jian. And you?"
"Long Jian..." The girl lifted her eyes, looked at him, then lowered her head again. "I'm Zhu Zhuqing."
"Zhu Zhuqing..." A thoughtful look appeared in Long Jian's eyes.
He felt the name was familiar; it felt like he had heard it somewhere before. But for now, it was better to clarify where exactly he was.
Long Jian asked softly, "I got lost in the forest just now. Do you know where this is?"
"Lost?" Zhu Zhuqing looked surprised, but she retrieved a map from her storage Soul Tool, identified their orientation, and said, "This is the Barak Kingdom, a vassal of the Heaven Dou Empire. We are currently right on the border of the Barak Kingdom."
Hearing the names mentioned by Zhu Zhuqing, combined with her own name, Long Jian instantly recalled a novel he had read in his previous life.
"Is this... Douluo Continent?"
Long Jian was shocked internally, but he didn't show much emotion on the surface.
*Damn!* Being transmigrated a second time was one thing, but to end up on the Douluo Continent! Seeing the slight change in Long Jian's expression, Zhu Zhuqing pursed her lips and asked, "What's wrong?"
Long Jian shook his head. "It's nothing!"
Long Jian took a deep breath and looked around, feeling momentarily aimless.
"Long Jian, did you come here to enroll in Shrek Academy?" Zhu Zhuqing asked, a hint of expectation surfacing in her tone.
It was currently the academy's recruitment period. Long Jian looked to be about her age, and while she didn't know his level of Spirit Power, it surely wouldn't be low.
"Shrek Academy?" Long Jian frowned slightly.
Shrek Academy—wasn't that where the protagonist team of that novel resided? And the Zhu Zhuqing from that team was standing right in front of him.
Since he didn't have anything better to do, he might as well see what the Douluo Continent had to offer.
"I wouldn't call it enrolling; I've just heard of it and came to take a look."
"I see," Zhu Zhuqing nodded.
"You traveled all the way from the Star Luo Empire to the Heaven Dou Empire—was that for Shrek Academy, too?" Long Jian asked, feigning ignorance.
"Yes!" Zhu Zhuqing nodded at first, but then she looked surprised. "Wait, how did you know I came from the Star Luo Empire?"
