"Master Karin, don't be so stingy," Son Goku pestered, sticking to him with a pout. "Besides, Vegito just saved me. Please, Master Karin!"
Vegito was actually a bit puzzled. He didn't remember Master Karin being stingy. There was likely some other reason behind this.
As expected, Master Karin shook his head. "Senzu Beans heal physical injuries, but Vegito's problem is with his energy. Honestly, a Senzu Bean probably won't help you. However, if you want to try, I can give you one."
"So that's how it is!" Son Goku awkwardly scratched his head. "I thought Master Karin had some misunderstanding about Vegito. But speaking of which, Vegito, you're too amazing. You're still so strong even when injured. What kind of power must the person who injured you possess?"
It wasn't just Son Goku; everyone else was curious too.
However, Vegito clearly had no intention of explaining.
He said to Master Karin, "I still want to try."
Master Karin didn't say anything more and directly gave him a Senzu Bean.
Unfortunately, just as Master Karin had said, after eating the Senzu Bean, Vegito only regained his stamina and his physical injuries healed, but his energy issue remained unresolved.
"Oh dear, what kind of injury is this that even a Senzu Bean can't heal? What are we going to do now?" Son Goku seemed more anxious than Vegito.
Part of it was indeed worry, but more of it was the desire to witness Vegito's full strength.
Vegito himself wasn't worried. If the Senzu Bean had no effect, he could always find Shenlong to help.
Even if Shenlong, at its level, couldn't directly cure him, it should know something if he asked for a method of treatment.
"Hmm... Perhaps you can go see the Guardian," Master Karin said at this point. "Because it involves some issues of rules, I don't understand it very well. If it's the Guardian, he should know something."
Rules?
Vegito's heart stirred.
Could it be that the destruction energy left by Beerus actually contained a type of energy that embodied the rules of destruction?
In other words, was divine energy actually extremely compressed energy plus the Power of rules?
Many problems that had been confusing him were suddenly explained by Master Karin's words.
With just a simple word, it was almost as if a door to a new world had opened for Vegito.
"Thank you very much, Master Karin. Then, I'll go see the Guardian now."
Everyone had come here for the Senzu Beans in the first place. Now that Son Goku and the others had recovered, and Vegito had gotten the answer he wanted, there was no need to stay any longer.
Bulma took Master Roshi back to Kame House; she wanted to study Raditz's Scouter. The rest of them went to Kami's Lookout together.
Only Son Goku had been here before. Krillin, visiting for the first time, was full of curiosity. Raditz was disdainful. And Piccolo's expression was complex.
The Guardian and King Piccolo were originally one being, and Piccolo had inherited the King Piccolo's memories completely. Seeing the Guardian soon, he was bound to feel very complicated.
"Let me tell you, the Guardian has an attendant named Dende, who is black and very interesting..." Son Goku chattered on, showing off his knowledge of the place.
"Hi! Hello!" At this moment, the black Dende appeared.
Son Goku instantly felt awkward and chuckled, scratching his head. "Dende, I was just introducing you to them. I definitely wasn't saying anything bad about you."
"Dende doesn't mind," Dende always had a calm expression, giving no hint of his emotions.
He looked at everyone and said, "The Guardian knows everything. He also knows that two very powerful Saiyans will arrive in a year. Although their specific purpose is unknown, as a precaution, the Guardian has permitted you to train here."
"Additionally, the Guardian has sent Yajirobe to notify Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chaozu. They will all arrive here soon, and you can train together then."
"Really? That's fantastic!" Krillin was so happy he almost jumped.
In the past, Son Goku and Tien Shinhan were of similar strength, but after training at the Lookout, he could easily defeat Tien Shinhan. Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yajirobe, and the others were very envious of Son Goku's opportunities, and now they surprisingly had this chance too.
"Piccolo, the Guardian said you can stay here too," Dende turned to look at Piccolo.
Unfortunately, Piccolo gave him no face and turned his head away with a scoff. He had only come here because of Vegito; it had nothing to do with the others.
"Then, does the Guardian have time to see me? There are some things I'd like to ask him," Vegito's attitude was very good. After all, he was someone who had received 21st-century higher education. Even with extraordinary power, he wouldn't forget his original intentions and would persist in being a humble, polite person with principles and boundaries. He would never be like Overlord Dragon, who was arrogant and looked down on everyone, but groveled before women and allowed himself to be bullied. Honestly, such people were universally loathed in reality; everyone would want to step on them if they saw them.
Dende nodded. "You must be Vegito? The Guardian spoke to Dende and said he can see you, but some things can only be discussed privately. The Guardian said he is waiting for you inside."
Vegito nodded silently. The Power of rules involved the realm of gods, and it was best not to involve Son Goku and the others. He understood this and naturally didn't think the Guardian was being pretentious.
