Good grief, Genghis Heavy Industries.
Su Enxi drew a sharp intake of breath. That was a corporate titan even she couldn't afford to provoke.
With fingers in both the underworld and the establishment, fabulously wealthy, immensely powerful, and serving as the gathering point for the island nation's Dragon-descended bloodlines, it occupied a top-tier position across the entire Half-blood world.
What kind of family did Lu Mingfei's classmate come from, anyway, to be able to partner with such heavyweights?
"Tachibana Masamune, the current head of the Shandao Eight Families and the actual power behind Genghis Heavy Industries. The two of them already met in this city a few days ago."
"However, Tachibana Masamune himself doesn't seem to be a Half-blood; I couldn't sense anything while monitoring them."
"As for the young man who accompanied him, his name is Minamoto Chisaki. His bloodline rank is extremely high—higher than yours, mine, and the emotionless girl's combined, I'd wager."
Chu Tianjiao rubbed his hair.
Recalling the terrifying gaze the other man had fixed on him through the window when he was dressed in casual clothes, he could confirm that the youth was at least an S-rank.
Furthermore, he was a Half-blood who had already awakened his Spiritual Word.
To bring a bodyguard like that along to make a statement meant that if the business talks fell through, there would undoubtedly be grave danger. Fortunately, the negotiations had succeeded, and neither side of the commercial venture had caused any unpleasantness.
"I see."
Jiu De Mai nodded, silently committing the name Minamoto Chisaki to memory.
"We've got an important piece of intelligence on our end, too."
"Go ahead."
Chu Tianjiao nodded without hesitation. He had seen this routine many times before; the other party always liked to drag things out with a bit of suspense.
"Lu Mingfei has awakened his Spiritual Word."
Su Enxi cut in ahead of Jiu De Mai, blurting out the answer directly.
"Huh?"
Chu Tianjiao looked bewildered. "When?"
"Right when you were picking up Chu Zihang from school. Lu Mingfei awakened his Spiritual Word in the middle school underground parking garage. It's suspected to be a branch of the King of Elements, granting him the ability of spatial slashing."
...
Early the next morning.
"Ding! Login to the chat group detected, check-in performed automatically! This check-in awards: 999 points!"
Lin Mai was awakened by the system prompt tone.
All intelligent lifeforms required sleep, and even Cybertronians were no exception.
"There are still this many points today?"
Listening to the chime by his ear, Lin Mai felt a mild surprise, but quickly dismissed it. After all, this paltry sum of points was mere pocket change to him now.
His main sources remained group quests, red envelopes, and altering worldlines.
Even if he received 999 points every single day going forward, it would still take him two days just to unlock the Level 3 group store, not to mention purchasing the items inside that routinely cost upwards of ten thousand points.
With that, Lin Mai exited the points interface.
The first order of business upon waking up in the morning was to check the Dimensional Chat Group.
[Viaduct in the Storm]: "Morning."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "Morning, I've already started attacking Iacon."
[The Infamous V]: "Not bad. How many Cybertronians did you bring over for this assault?"
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "A few dozen, I suppose."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "Let's see who's with me right now: Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Bombshell, Kickback, Shrapnel, Megatron, Shockwave, Reflector... wait, that's enough to list a whole menu."
[The Infamous V]: "Are you just rattling off a grocery list over there?"
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "Heh."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "Just showing off my firepower. Once the real fight starts, I'll stream it live in the group. Remember to tip me some Heavy Rain Recovery Potions."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "I bought a couple online, and they feel genuinely useful. Even though the description says it provides minor rust prevention, the restorative effect is top-tier and can repair large-scale trauma on Cybertronians."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "[Video]."
Seeing a group member post a recording, Lin Mai instantly grew interested and double-tapped the video to open it.
First to appear on screen was a mutilated robotic arm, covered in battle-scarred gouges, with certain components shattered beyond recognition.
Yet, the very next moment.
As another hand unscrewed the cap of a recovery potion and poured out a cascade of gilded liquid, the massive wound began to flow backward in layers, countless parts reassembling themselves.
In a mere second or two, the ruined mechanical arm was fully restored, looking as pristine as if it had just rolled off the assembly line.
With that, the video went black and ended, returning the user to the Dimensional Chat Group interface.
"The potion's effect is really that strong?"
Lin Mai was struck with shock.
Those 100 group points actually seemed to hold some weight, resolving at the very least the Autobots' inability to heal on the fly anywhere, anytime.
Imagine a swarm of Autobots that couldn't be burst down in one go and could endlessly regenerate while attacking you—any way you looked at it, that was an epic-tier buff.
[Viaduct in the Storm]: "Insane."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "And this stuff can also cure rust rot. Even though the description calls it a minor remedy, it's still one of the few methods available."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "With this Heavy Rain Recovery Potion, it's entirely possible that an Autobot you're fighting will just happen to be cured of their rust rot mid-battle."
[Drop-Resistant King of Cybertron]: "And right after that, you get to face the wrath of a Cybertronian at the peak of their prime."
[The Infamous V]: "How should I put this?"
[The Infamous V]: "I just tested it out myself. It can only heal my cyberware; it has no way of restoring my flesh and blood."
[The Infamous V]: "Just like the description says, it can only repair wounds up to 10cm on me."
[The Infamous V]: "But when it comes to worn-out cyberware, it really can repair things over a meter long. My defense is completely broken."
[I Am the Cosmic Rich Woman]: "Huh?"
[I Am the Cosmic Rich Woman]: "Did I wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Does that mean the recovery effect of the Heavy Rain Recovery Potion on machinery is ten times stronger than on us mere mortals of flesh and blood?"
In the Honkai: Star Rail universe.
Asta stood inside the Space Station, staring down at the Heavy Rain Recovery Potion she had just withdrawn, looking utterly stunned.
"I heard there are tons of robots over on Jarilo-VI. If we could combine those with this stuff..."
A bold idea suddenly struck her.
In this universe, there existed a catastrophe known as the Antimatter Legion.
If she could manufacture a batch of cutting-edge, powerful mechanical troops and reliably supply them with Heavy Rain Recovery Potions, wouldn't that minimize her resource attrition costs to the absolute limit?
Boss Megatron truly was a divine being!
[I Am the Cosmic Rich Woman]: "Thanks to Boss Megatron for the inspiration! I know how to handle the disaster over here now!"
[The Infamous V]: "Huh?"
[The Infamous V]: "Why do you guys all have bold ideas while I feel like I got ripped off..."
Before her chat interface, V stared at the Heavy Rain Recovery Potion bottle—which had emptied after repairing a single cybernetic arm—and felt like crying tears that wouldn't come.
