"Verkhoyansk?" Caesar frowned. "If it were the ice-free port of Murmansk, that would make some sense, but why would they appear in Verkhoyansk?"
"Verkhoyansk is one of the coldest cities in the Northern Hemisphere, located on the banks of the Yana River in northeastern Siberia," EVA said. "According to my database, there have been four recorded instances of Ghouls appearing in Verkhoyansk over the past two decades, along with one suspected incident where our agents didn't find any traces. Altogether, the recorded Ghouls number eleven, and every single one of them appeared in winter, between late December and early January."
"Yet we saw four of them today alone," Schneider said.
