There are twelve universes, each independent of the others. However, the relationships between them are far from harmonious, and the First Universe often encroaches upon the others to plunder their resources. Given the disparity in power, the other universes have largely been forced to swallow their grievances.
Ye Kuang, the Master of the Ninth Universe, possesses strength that falls short of the First Universe—significantly so—but he has long held a deep resentment toward them. He stepped forward and demanded that the Master of All Ancestors, the master of the First Universe, hand over the Chaos Treasures that rightfully belonged to the Twelfth Universe.
