Chapter 1: Ordinary Ripples Amid the hustle and bustle of the prosperous metropolis, Ivan lived the life of an ordinary programmer. Every day, in his cubicle within the office building, he faced a computer screen, tapping away at lines of code and hustling for a living. This day, Ivan finished his day's work and dragged his exhausted body out of the corporate building. The night sky twinkled with numerous stars. He looked up and saw a shooting star streak across the firmament, as if carrying a trace of a mysterious aura. Returning home, Ivan turned on his computer as usual, preparing to relax. Suddenly, the computer screen flickered without warning, and immediately afterward, a bizarre pattern appeared upon it. The pattern emitted a faint blue light, flowing slowly as though it possessed life. Before Ivan could react, a powerful force surged from the screen and violently sucked him in.
