This intense and acrid stench felt almost tangible as it forced its way into their nasal cavities, assaulting their olfactory nerves and causing nausea. The stench of decay was like the breath of death fermenting in the atmosphere, while the herbal scent carried a mysterious and eerie quality. Combined, the two plunged the entire entrance into an even more gloomy and terrifying ambiance.
