Feng Wenjun sat by the window in a daze as usual. Qian Yuxi walked over to him and asked, "There's an auction tomorrow dealing with the cultivation world. Are you interested in going together?" Feng Wenjun snapped out of his daze. "An auction for the cultivation world? There must be plenty of treasures there!" "I heard the finale item is an Immortal Artifact, and many major cultivation families as well as powerful cultivators from neighboring countries will be attending," Qian Yuxi explained. "Then let's go check it out together tomorrow!" Feng Wenjun grew excited at the thought of the Immortal Artifact. "I'll drive and pick you up tomorrow, then!" Feng Wenjun smiled at Qian Yuxi. "Alright! See you tomorrow." With that, Qian Yuxi left.
The next day, Feng Wenjun dressed in a retro suit, looking sharp and handsome, and drove his luxury car to pick up Qian Yuxi. Before long, they arrived in front of a luxurious office building with the words "Tianlong Auction House" prominently displayed at the entrance. The Tianlong Auction House was considered a top-tier power in the Yan Country, with branches in every major city. Some of these branches even catered specifically to cultivators, offering all sorts of heavenly materials, divine weapons, magical treasures, medicinal pills, and talismans. However, ordinary people remained completely unaware of these matters concerning cultivators.
At that moment, Feng Wenjun played the gentleman and opened the car door for Qian Yuxi. Qian Yuxi looked truly stunning today; her delicate face was as smooth and flawless as white jade, and her gown accentuated her alluring, curvaceous figure. A pair of long, slender legs were half-hidden beneath the flowing fabric of her dress, a sight that made anyone's mouth water. Feng Wenjun stole two glances, swallowing hard out of sheer habit.
As they approached the entrance, a security guard suddenly stepped forward to block them. "This is private property. Do you have an invitation?" Qian Yuxi politely handed over her invitation. The guard glanced at Qian Yuxi, then turned his gaze to Feng Wenjun, saying coldly, "This invitation only admits one person. If this gentleman doesn't have one, he can wait outside." Feng Wenjun instantly felt the guard was intentionally giving him a hard time. "I am Qian Yuxi of the Qian Clan, and this gentleman is the Young Master of the Feng Family. Please show us some courtesy." "I don't care who you are! No invitation means you don't enter," the guard barked, raising his voice.
"Noisy," Feng Wenjun said calmly. The guard was suddenly pressed to the ground by an invisible force. Realizing he had offended a major figure, he flattened himself against the floor and begged incessantly for mercy, "Young Master Feng, this humble one was blind and failed to recognize Mount Tai! Please spare me, Young Master Feng!" Seeing that the guard's attitude in admitting his mistake was quite good, Feng Wenjun decided not to press the matter further and led Qian Yuxi into the main hall. In truth, he was somewhat puzzled as to why such a massive auction didn't have an invitation for the Feng Family. Later on, he learned that this auction was prepared exclusively for cultivators, and ordinary people would not be invited; after all, in the outside world, the Feng Family was merely a business titan with no ties to cultivation whatsoever.
A manager escorted Feng Wenjun and Qian Yuxi to a private room on the second floor, which offered a clear view of the auction floor. The second floor was custom-made for those with real strength and powerful family backgrounds. Should they wish to place a bid, dedicated hostesses stood ready to raise the paddle and bid on their behalf, providing exceptionally thoughtful service.
"Welcome everyone to the Tianlong Auction House. We will now begin our bidding. Please look at the first lot—the Longevity Pill. This is a Tier 2 medicinal pill that can extend one's lifespan by twenty years upon consumption. The starting bid for this item is 500,000, with each increment no less than 50,000," a stunningly beautiful woman announced from the stage to the crowd.
"I bid 600,000!" "700,000!" People all around scrambled to place their bids.
"1 million," Feng Wenjun signaled the hostess to bid.
Seeing that the bid came from the second floor, the others who wanted to bid swallowed their words back down. After all, those who could sit up there belonged to major families and powerful factions whom they dared not cross. Better to avoid trouble than to invite it.
"Congratulations to the VIP on the second floor! This Longevity Pill is yours!" the woman said respectfully.
"Next, the second lot—the Violet Brocade Soft Armor. This soft armor is woven from ten-thousand-year-old green silkworm silk. It is as light as gauze and as thin as a cicada's wing, yet capable of withstanding a full blow from a Nascent Soul Expert. It can truly be called a supreme life-saving treasure. The starting bid is 1 million, with each increment no less than 200,000."
"Now that's a good treasure! I must win it." "To think I'd actually get to see such a treasure—it belongs to me."
As soon as this lot was presented, the room erupted like a boiling pot. Everyone grew restless, rubbing their palms together in eagerness to bid.
"1.25 million!" "1.5 million!" "2 million!" "I bid 2.3 million!"
"10 million! The VIP guest on the second floor bids 10 million. Congratulations to the VIP on the second floor for winning this treasure!" the woman pointed toward the second floor in astonishment.
Hearing this price, those who had just been bidding fell speechless, exchanging glances. It seemed the person upstairs was about to claim another treasure.
At that moment, Feng Wenjun looked at Qian Yuxi with a smile. In truth, ever since this item had appeared, Qian Yuxi's gaze had never left the soft armor. Unfortunately, she hadn't brought enough money with her to bid on it, and her hidden desire unconsciously surfaced on her delicate, blushing face. At the same time, Feng Wenjun had caught her thoughts out of the corner of his eye. Therefore, he had placed a bid of 10 million, intending to give it to her.
Qian Yuxi seemed to understand something, looking at Feng Wenjun with a bashful expression.
In the span of just a short moment, they had won two treasures, instantly stunning the entire crowd. Meanwhile, in the private room directly opposite theirs, a man was slamming his table in fury, shouting in halting Mandarin, "Who the hell is that blind bastard across from me, constantly stealing my items tired of living?!" This man was none of other than Kumamoto Takeo, the second-in-command assigned to the Yan Country by the neighboring country's Black Dragon Organization. This organization was quite mysterious and had existed for a long time, yet it always operated in deep secrecy. Information about them in the outside world consisted of mere snippets, with only one known fact: their leader was a powerhouse at Foundation Establishment Peak. Kumamoto Takeo himself was an expert at the Foundation Establishment 3rd Layer; his trip to the Yan Country was precisely for the finale Immortal Artifact.

"Sir, please don't lose your temper. We came here for the Immortal Artifact; why bother with these ants?" a voluptuous, alluring woman beside him whispered soothingly.
After a brief pause, many of the lots had been sold.
"The next item is the finale lot of the day. This item was found by a rogue cultivator who risked his life in a Secret Realm, and it is said to be an Immortal Artifact. The starting bid for this item is 10 million, with each increment no less than 2 million," the woman introduced with an excited expression. Instantly, a small display case rose from the floor of the high auction platform, holding a wooden box. Inside the box rested a sword. The sword was white and completely translucent; upon closer inspection, wisps of chilling cold air were visible. Its blade was narrow and thin, yet razor-sharp, radiating a powerful coercive pressure. Unfortunately, there was a nick on one side of the blade, making it look slightly less than perfect.
Everyone around stared at the sword in utter shock and disbelief—this was a treasure they had never laid eyes on in their entire lives!
"We've finally waited for it. It really looks like an Immortal Artifact," Kumamoto Takeo stared at the sword with a smug expression.
"15 million!" he declared with an air of absolute certainty. "18 million!" "20 million!" The other factions on the second floor could no longer hold back and began shouting out bids.
"Master, although this sword looks like an Immortal Artifact, it actually only carries a trace of immortal aura. Coupled with the damage to its blade, it can only be used once. However, if Master can refine that wispy immortal aura, you will undoubtedly break through to a major realm," Xiaoyu said, leaning on Feng Wenjun's shoulder.
Hearing Xiaoyu's words, Feng Wenjun was overjoyed. Knowing he could grow stronger once again, he signaled the hostess to bid one hundred million.
"One hundred million! The VIP on the second floor bids one hundred million!" Hearing this figure, everyone present sat in a daze, completely at a loss.
"Bastard! Daring to snatch something our Black Dragon has set its sights on—you're courting death!" Kumamoto Takeo roared angrily, jumping up as if to head outside, only to be stopped by the woman beside him. "Sir, we must not act rashly. After all, we are on their turf. It would be better for us to secretly investigate that person's background first before making any plans." With that, she and Kumamoto Takeo departed in anger.
