Su Xiao's expression changed. "Are you saying we've been played all along? Then why are you telling us?"

However, I'm not entirely heartless. If you wish to change this death sentence, perhaps there's a sliver of chance."
Lin Jue's heart stirred. "What chance?"
The mysterious visitor leaned closer and lowered his voice. "The 'Void Eye' is powerful, but it has weaknesses. If you can find the key hidden within the deep code, you might be able to break all this. However... it won't be easy to find, and once you attract the Arbiter's attention, all hope will be lost."
