As soon as she landed, Gù Níngníng heard a "bang bang bang bang" of impact outside the compartment door. As she walked out of the compartment, the sound of impact became even clearer.
When she reached the front hall, she finally saw the source of the sound. Outside the glass door of the tavern, a familiar big face was plastered, and the owner of this big face was the "big client" who had visited the store last night.
"You're here!"
Gù Níngníng was overjoyed. She quickly put her backpack on the counter, and a "ding dong" business prompt sounded, and the shop door opened instantly.
However, the big guy outside the door lost his balance due to the suddenly opened door, and his whole body smashed a big pit directly onto the wooden floor inside the store.
"Uh..."
Looking at the large hole smashed open at the entrance, Gù Níngníng stood stunned, briefly heartbroken for two seconds.
"Wura! Wura wura!!!"
The big guy climbed out of the pit on the ground and howled at Gù Níngníng with some grievance, then rushed to the counter in two quick steps.
Looking at the creature in front of her, whose height and weight were enough to match two or three of her, Gù Níngníng subconsciously took two deep breaths and then showed a warm, spring-'like smile and said:
"Welcome! What would you like to drink today, sir?"
As she spoke, she took out various kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from her backpack one by one.
The big guy looked at the colorful drinks and wines and immediately cheered.
"Wura~" (Yay~)
Its huge paws rested on the counter, and it first pointed to a bottle of pink cocktail on the table. Gù Níngníng smiled, opened it with a bottle opener, poured it into an exquisite large beer mug, and handed it over.
The big guy's throat moved, and holding the cup with both paws, it poured the pink cocktail into its mouth.
"Wuwuwuwuwuwuwuwu~"
Seeing it let out a satisfied cry, Gù Níngníng opened another bottle of lime flavor for it. The big guy drank with great enjoyment, and its two red eyes narrowed with satisfaction.
After a few cocktails, its paws on the counter trembled slightly. Seeing that the guy seemed to be a little unaccustomed to alcohol, Gù Níngníng took out a can of milk from her backpack.
As soon as it smelled the aroma of milk, the big guy seemed to have its DNA activated, and it staggered and prepared to pounce on the milk in Gù Níngníng's hand.
"Wait a minute! Stand still and don't move!!!"
Seeing the guy's shaky body, Gù Níngníng felt a little scared. It was fine if the floor was damaged, but she absolutely couldn't be smashed down with it!
Seeing Gù Níngníng's resistant posture making it stand still, the big guy really stood there obediently without moving.
Only after a basin of sweet milk was placed on the table did Gù Níngníng breathe a sigh of relief and say:
"You can drink it now!"
Given the order, the big guy immediately picked up the milk and drank it "gulu gulu," even licking the bottom of the basin clean.
Watching the guy finish the milk and look docile, Gù Níngníng's heart suddenly softened. She remembered that when she lived with her maternal grandma in a rural courtyard, there was a big white dog tied at the door.
She loved that dog so much back then; it was fluffy and very comfortable to touch. Looking at the grayish big guy in front of her, she suddenly asked curiously:
"What exactly are you?"
"Wura?"
The big guy raised its large face buried in the basin and looked at Gù Níngníng with some confusion.
"Uh, I mean, you don't look like any animal I know, so I'm a little curious where you came from!"
As soon as Gù Níngníng finished speaking, the big guy pointed outside the shop door with its finger, then whimpered a few times.
Although Gù Níngníng couldn't understand its words, she could vaguely tell from its body language that this guy should have come from the nearby mountain forest.
But as for what species it was, that was unclear.
"In that case, how about I call you Baishan from now on!"
Gù Níngníng said, stroking her chin, lost in thought.
Baishan tilted its head, seeming to ponder something seriously. After a moment, it let out a "wura," and its pair of red eyes sparkled, shining like rubies.
Gù Níngníng looked at it more and more, thinking it resembled a fluffy big white bear, but because it was a bit dirty, its white fur had turned gray.
After drinking the milk, Baishan licked its paws with lingering satisfaction, but because it had drunk too much cocktail, it was a bit tipsy.
It staggered and fumbled for something on its body. After a while, it finally took out a few Crystal Cores and placed them on the counter.
Gù Níngníng quickly waved her hands and said with a smile:
"The money you paid yesterday is enough for you to drink here for a long time, so you don't need to pay extra for the drinks consumed today!"
After speaking, she pushed the Crystal Cores back to Baishan. However, Baishan didn't seem to accept Gù Níngníng's words and kept pushing those Crystal Cores towards Gù Níngníng's hand. Unable to refuse, Gù Níngníng had to accept these Crystal Cores.
"In that case, I'll issue you a points card from the store! You can use the points on this card to exchange for whatever you want to eat in the future!"
As she spoke, Gù Níngníng tore half a sheet of homework paper from her backpack, then took out a pen and wrote the words "points card" neatly on it.
Afterward, she calculated the remaining number of Crystal Cores Baishan had consumed yesterday and today, converted them into points according to the ratio, and wrote them down in the store's little notebook.
"Alright, here's your points card. Make sure to keep it safe! I can give you a special discount with the card in the future!"
Baishan took the points card, which also had a small flower drawn on it, and tucked it into the long fur on its chest as if it had found a treasure.
