She listened quietly, as if she were deriving pleasure from the anxiety and irritability of these people. When the cultivators' shouts grew increasingly frantic, even crossing into insults directed at the female cultivator, she suddenly soared out of the ice tomb, followed by a series of shrill, miserable screams.
