Spirit essences are varied and bizarre, and the energy contained within them far surpasses that of ordinary spirit crystals. Such mutated Spirit Gathering Grass cannot spit out spirit liquid, so once it grows to a certain stage, people will harvest it and slice open the spirit grass to capture the spirit essence.
This is a delicate art. Harvest too early, and while the spirit essence inside can still gather, lacking the tempering of time, much will be lost.
Harvest too late, and the spirit essence within the Mystic Spirit Grass will dissipate, or worse, the spirit grass will reach the limit of its lifespan and suddenly wither away.
