The innkeeper picked up two door keys and led them toward their rooms. After dropping their luggage off in their respective rooms, the two went out to eat together.
Once at the tavern, Gildarts completely exposed his true nature. There was no helping it; that was just the kind of lecherous uncle he was, and even having Cana hadn't changed him much. It was a good thing Sun hadn't touched Gildarts's luggage, otherwise the big guy really would have lost his temper.
