On a bright and sunny day, Porlyusica walked toward her meticulously tended herb garden as she did every day. A gentle breeze caressed her skin, and birds sang merrily in the branches, making everything seem peaceful and wonderful. However, upon arriving at the edge of the garden, she was surprised to find an unusual sight—a baby in swaddling clothes was lying there quietly.
Porlyusica froze in astonishment, glancing around, but saw no sign of anyone about. She stepped forward cautiously and gently scooped the infant into her arms. The baby's body was warm and soft, with a tiny, rosy face that stirred an inexplicable surge of tenderness in Porlyusica's heart.
"How could such a tiny child appear in a place like this?" Porlyusica frowned slightly. She carefully checked the baby's physical condition and found the little fellow to be perfectly healthy, though currently fast asleep and unlikely to wake up anytime soon.
Porlyusica hesitated. Ordinarily, whenever she encountered such a situation, she would have Makarov take the child away. Today, however, she sensed a faint, almost imperceptible trace of dragon aura coming from this baby. Though not very obvious, she could still feel it clearly.
"This child... has a dragon's aura?" Startled, Porlyusica decided to take the child back first and figure things out later.
Back at home, Porlyusica thoroughly examined the infant. Once she confirmed there was nothing wrong with him, she decided to summon Makarov to discuss how to handle the situation.
It was not long before Makarov hurried over.
The two elders gazed silently at the baby before them, neither speaking a word as the room plunged into stillness.
Finally, Makarov broke the silence. Speaking slowly, he said, "Porlyusica, you mentioned that this child carries a dragon's aura, but I didn't sense any such thing. Still, since you were the one who found him, and I certainly don't have anyone suitable to look after him on my end, you might as well just adopt him. What do you think?"
Porlyusica furrowed her brow slightly and remained silent for a long time. Although she felt somewhat troubled by the prospect, realizing she truly had no better alternative for caring for the child at the moment, she ultimately agreed to adopt him.
Meanwhile, Alan was experiencing something incredible. He had originally been just an ordinary wage earner; outside of working to make a living, his only pleasures were watching his favorite anime and collecting various exquisite action figures.
Just today, after finishing a day's work, Alan walked briskly toward the courier pickup station not far from his rented apartment, feeling exceptionally excited. Waiting there was a treasure he had long anticipated—his heart's desire, the Gallantmon X figure!
When Alan finally took the parcel from the staff member, his face beamed with excitement and he ripped open the outer packaging right on the spot. The next moment, a dazzling and eye-catching box containing the Gallantmon X figure came into view.
Overjoyed, Alan could hardly wait to assemble the figure and put it on display. He quickly tidied up the discarded packaging and hurried toward his apartment.
Along the way, Alan walked at a brisk pace, the majestic image of Gallantmon X constantly flashing through his mind as he remained entirely immersed in the joy of soon possessing a new toy. Before he knew it, he reached a pedestrian crossroad, where the traffic light happened to be showing red. However, an anxious Alan paid no attention to any of this, his mind entirely consumed by how to get home as quickly as possible to assemble his action figure. The moment the pedestrian light turned green, Alan stepped forward without hesitation.
Yet right then, disaster struck. Because his attention was completely focused on the figure, Alan failed to notice a car on the road beside him running the red light and charging straight toward him. By the time he realized the danger was upon him, it was already far too late.
Accompanied by a dull thud, Alan felt a wave of intense pain course through his entire body. Then his vision went black, and he lost consciousness.
I do not know how much time had passed before Alan exerted a tremendous amount of effort to slowly and with great difficulty open his impossibly heavy eyelids. He blinked, struggling to adjust to the surrounding light, yet everything that met his gaze felt so unfamiliar and bewildering.
When Alan tried to push himself up as he usually would, he was shocked to sense something strange—his body had inexplicably become tiny! Looking down, he stared in disbelief as he realized he had shrunk to the size of an infant.
Alan was instantly stunned, his mind in complete chaos: "I was clearly just hit by a car, so how could something this bizarre happen? Why has my body suddenly shrunk?"
Just as Alan was filled with confusion and at a complete loss for what to do, the door to the room was gently pushed open, and a figure slowly walked inside.
Alan looked up and saw an elderly woman walking briskly toward the bed. Upon recognizing who it was, Alan's eyes widened, and his heart surged with sheer astonishment—the woman before him was none other than Porlyusica! That character who only existed in the anime Fairy Tail!Observing the changes in his own body, Alan finally had a sudden realization: his physical abnormality was not simply the result of some accidental mishap, but rather, through a strange twist of fate, he had crossed over into the world of Fairy Tail!
Porlyusica gazed fixedly at Alan. Having spent the last few days living in close company with him, the elderly woman had long since warmly embraced the arrival of this infant. That legendary, grandparently affection welled up instantly, and Porlyusica's eyes brimmed with tenderness and maternal love.
She gently bent down, leaned in close to Alan, and asked softly, "Little fellow, how are you feeling now?"
Alan parted his mouth slightly, wanting to respond to Porlyusica's concern, but all that came out was a series of babbling, inarticulate sounds. Yet, these simple and innocent coos seemed to possess a magical charm, instantly lifting Porlyusica's spirits and filling her with joy the moment she heard them.Porlyusica stretched out her hands with uncontrollable joy, carefully and gently gathering Alan into her arms. She looked down at the tiny baby in her embrace, unable to tear her gaze away for even a second, her face beaming with an unmistakable, blissful smile.
Having never had children of her own, Porlyusica had always found it hard to understand why certain adults would instinctively burst out laughing with joy while holding a child. But now, as she held Alan in her arms and began to playfully coax the adorable little fellow, she finally understood why.
Perhaps driven by fate, Porlyusica spoke softly to the infant in her arms: "Shall I give you a name? How does the name Alan sound?"
Perhaps having heard her words, the baby in her arms smiled and narrowed his eyes at her. This made Porlyusica even happier. She gently stroked Alan's cheek and whispered, "Alan, I hope you stay healthy and strong as you grow up."
