Alan stood at the doorway for a moment, looking over the quiet main hall with a satisfied nod, then led Ultear, four children including Cana, and a dog toward the bar. Laxus had exchanged a wave from afar with Makarov and already left; the long journey had worn him out, and he was in dire need of a proper rest.
Makarov raised an eyebrow when he saw Ur holding Ultear, immediately guessing her origins, though he looked somewhat perplexed by the three children trailing behind.
Stepping up to the bar, Alan introduced them to Makarov: "Gramps, this is Ur, an S-Class level mage from the continent of Gildarts, and she's Ultear's mother. At my persuasion, she's decided to join the guild. These two little boys with us are orphans we met in Gildarts whose parents died in the disaster. Since no one could take them in, I decided to bring them back to the guild. As for this little girl—"
