When Oug first heard the news, he was overjoyed, believing Laxus was walking right into his trap step by step. However, he hadn't anticipated that, following Alan's instructions, Laxus's guild-crashing would avoid any civilian casualties. The battles were confined strictly inside the guild halls, and the commotion was kept minimal. Most importantly, every guild challenged by Laxus held a deep respect for him. As a result, when the Council investigators arrived to look into the matter, not a single person spoke ill of Laxus; instead, they furiously chewed out the members of the Council investigation team.
