The Dharma Assembly lasted for a full six months. During these six months, led by the Martial God, Immortal King Gu Xi, and Ouyang Xuanzhen, each delivered speeches on the assembly's agenda.
The topics included the current living environment for the Daoist sects, the future direction for Daoist cultivators, and the subordinate relationships among the major Daoist sects going forward.
Finally, the Martial God proposed that, in order to integrate resources and secure a better future for the Daoist sects, a central institution called the "Dao-Debating Directorate" should be established with the Three Thousand Dao Gates as its hub.
