At this moment, within the Dark Sea, numerous Dark Beings emerged from the depths. The pitch-black surface of the sea churned incessantly, revealing one towering figure after another. These magnificent entities were entirely black and radiated an aura of extreme antiquity; they were the Dark Beings dwelling within the Dark Sea. To call them mere Dark Beings would be an understatement. They could be classified as Ultimate Dark Beings, their strength comparable to that of an Era Overlord. Beyond these Overlord-level entities existed countless smaller Dark Beings—the Dark Army—whose strength rivaled that of the Ancestor Gods or those beneath them. Their numbers were so vast they equaled the total population of all living things within the entire Peak of the Vastness. One could understand this through the nature of light and shadow: where there is light, shadow is born. The more light there is, the more shadow follows; the stronger the light, the stronger the shadow. The Dark Beings of the Dark Sea were, in essence, the projections of every living soul in the Vastness. For every new practitioner born in the Vastness, a corresponding Dark Being was conceived in the Dark Sea. While they shared the same cultivation realm, the Dark Beings were inherently stronger, as the Dark Power naturally suppressed the power of practitioners. Consequently, the number of Dark Beings in the Dark Sea was directly proportional to the number of practitioners in the Vastness—a near one-to-one ratio.
