The format of the show was unlike any other program before it.
In every episode, the production team would randomly select a theme from a dedicated vocabulary database. The twelve singer-songwriters participating in the show would then have to compose or adapt a song within a specified time based on that theme.
This was a fallback measure conceived to prevent the singers from genuinely failing to write anything.
