Chapter 12

Chuxuan fought these blocking disciples to test the results of his cultivation over this period, while also gaining a clearer understanding of the Outsiders in this world.
Chuxuan felt that his cultivation speed had slowed down lately, as he had reached a bottleneck and it was no longer as rapid as when he first started. Chuxuan knew that cultivation relied on more than just sitting in meditation and quiet practice; it required tempering through real-world experience, using combat to test and verify the fruits of his cultivation.
The reason Chuxuan had not dodged the attack earlier was precisely to test how effective his Golden Light Spell was.
The result left Chuxuan very satisfied. It seemed that the Golden Light Spell he cultivated was already proving quite effective. Although the disciple who attacked him earlier had only used half of his strength, Chuxuan had only slightly activated the Golden Light Spell without fully unleashing it, which meant his Golden Light Spell had already reached a very high realm.
Chuxuan had a feeling that if he were to unleash the Golden Light Spell with all his might right now, he believed he could be completely invincible. Even if the few disciples before him attacked him together, they would not be able to break through his defense. However, in order to test another aspect of his recent cultivation progress, Chuxuan deactivated the Golden Light Spell for the upcoming fight, intending to try out his other cultivation methods.
Hearing Chuxuan's words, the lean disciple felt his worried heart finally relax.
A trace of vigilance flashed in the disciple's eyes as he turned solemn. Feeling that this Junior Uncle might be extraordinary, he looked at Chuxuan and said, "Junior Uncle, this time I won't hold back at all. Please be careful."
Chuxuan smiled indifferently and said, "Come at me with everything you've got!"
With that, the disciple threw another punch straight at Chuxuan. This time, he held nothing back, launching a full-force attack against Chuxuan.
Seeing the disciple's attack, Chuxuan did not hesitate either, directly throwing a punch of his own.
The two fists collided instantly, producing a dull thud. Afterward, Chuxuan and the disciple separated, both retreating backward.
Chuxuan stepped back just half a step before steadying his stance.
As for the disciple, he retreated more than three paces before barely managing to stabilize himself.
Chuxuan was not too surprised by this result; it merely gave him a clearer understanding of his own strength.
Chuxuan looked at the disciple with even greater focus, while the disciple stared at Chuxuan in utter astonishment, his eyes filled with apprehension.
The lean disciple's fist that had just collided with Chuxuan was now lowered. Opening and closing it slightly, the trembling fist showed that his collision with Chuxuan had been far from pleasant.
In contrast, Chuxuan on the opposite side looked calm and collected, neither flushed nor out of breath, as if he had just dealt with a completely mundane matter.
Looking at the lean disciple, Chuxuan waved his hand and said, "Again! Let me see how your leg techniques are."
Chuxuan's voice reached the opposite disciple's ears with a trace of unquestionable authority, making the disciple shudder.
Following that, the disciple rushed toward Chuxuan once more, this time lashing out with a palm strike.
Chuxuan raised his palm to counter. As their palms met, the disciple suddenly extended a leg and kicked toward Chuxuan.
Anticipating this low attack, Chuxuan applied slight pressure with his palm to push him away, while using the recoil to retreat backward.
Seeing Chuxuan retreat, the lean disciple surged forward again, raising his leg in another kick aimed at Chuxuan's waist.
Watching the incoming kick, Chuxuan did not dodge. Sinking his lower stance slightly, he struck out with a palm toward the disciple's lower leg.
Chuxuan's palm landed squarely on the disciple's shin, halting his kick.
Immediately afterward, Chuxuan curled his fingers into a grip, catching one of the disciple's legs. Without missing a beat, his other hand formed a fist and punched fiercely toward the disciple's chest.
Chuxuan's speed was blinding; the movements of both hands were smooth and executed in one go, striking simultaneously without giving the disciple a single chance to react.
The next second, Chuxuan gave a sharp pull on the disciple's ankle, giving it a light jerk that instantly threw the man off balance.
Right on the heels of that, Chuxuan's fist arrived.
By then, the disciple had already lost his balance and panicked entirely. Chuxuan's fist smashed into his body, sending him flying backward.
He crashed directly into a spectator disciple standing nearby. The force of Chuxuan's toss was truly not insignificant, as it actually knocked both of them to the ground.
Fortunately, Chuxuan had held back, so the disciple he threw did not sustain any serious injuries.
The two climbed up from the ground, though they looked rather disheveled.
The disciple who had fought Chuxuan looked at him with utmost respect and bowed in gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Junior Uncle, for showing mercy."
Chuxuan nodded slightly and smiled faintly. "You don't need to thank me. I am merely a fraction stronger than you."
Hearing this, the disciple felt a rush of burning shame. After exchanging blows with Chuxuan just now, he had clearly sensed the terrifying depth of Chuxuan's strength. He was definitely no match for this Junior Uncle—how could it possibly be just "a fraction stronger" as Chuxuan claimed?
Filled with gratitude toward Chuxuan, the lean disciple realized that had Chuxuan not held back, there was no telling how utterly miserable his state would be right now.
The disciple bowed respectfully and said, "Disciple Zhang Yuqing pays respects to Junior Uncle."
Chuxuan nodded slightly, accepting the title of Junior Uncle without refusal.
At that moment, the other observing disciples looked at Zhang Yuqing with a trace of anger. Originally, they had conspired to gang up on Chuxuan and make things difficult for him. Never did they expect Zhang Yuqing to switch sides midway and openly acknowledge Chuxuan as their Junior Uncle.
Seeing the sincerity on Zhang Yuqing's face, Chuxuan knew he had completely won the man over.
Then, Chuxuan turned his head to look at the remaining disciples.
Noticing the resentment on their faces, Chuxuan easily guessed what they were thinking.
Their strength was inferior to Zhang Yuqing's, so despite their dissatisfaction with Chuxuan, they were powerless to do anything against him.
Chuxuan looked at them with a faint smile and said, "It seems you are not satisfied with me as your Junior Uncle! In that case, I'll give you all a chance today. Come at me together!"
Reborn and transported into the world of The Outcast, Chuxuan has taken the first step on his magnificent journey. Watch how he takes that first step and walks the path to the very summit!
