Her face was as pale as paper, devoid of all color, and fine beads of sweat formed on her forehead, sliding down her cheeks to land on her armor with a faint ticking sound. Every breath was an immense struggle, as if the air itself had grown leaden. Beside her, an Angel Warrior tightly supported her, her arm trembling slightly, clearly having exhausted the last dregs of her strength in that final, all-out strike. Ruoning's legs were weak, barely able to support her weight; had it not been for the warrior's support, she would have collapsed long ago.
