Chapter 11

2,004 words10 minutes read

Meanwhile, Lumine and Guixu were reading the chat group's announcement.
The announcement was quite short; it took the two of them about a minute to finish reading it. It mainly explained that members could not attack one another, along with introducing several features of the Chat Group: check-in, tasks, mall, exchange, and trading.
The check-in was a fixed way for every member to earn points. Depending on the level of the chat group, the daily check-in points would fall within different ranges. A Level 1 chat group yielded anywhere from 1 to 100 points per day, entirely dependent on personal luck.
The tasks, exchange, and trading modules were temporarily unavailable due to an insufficient chat group level. Only the check-in and mall modules were unlocked. Unfortunately, the mall—which only allowed purchases—was currently the most useless module. Since check-in points were the sole source of currency, the meager amount acquired daily wasn't even enough to buy basic daily necessities, let alone anything useful. To make matters worse, certain unlucky members always rolled single-digit check-in numbers, making them utterly incapable of buying anything at all.
Then there was the main explanation regarding the Myriad Realms, such as how information exchange between worlds might take the form of games, movies, anime, novels, and the like, and how mutually derived parallel worlds might house counterparts.
Guixu understood all of this quite well. Having lived in Little Garden—the very center of numerous worlds—inter-world interactions and parallel worldlines were extremely common occurrences to him. Lumine, having traveled through quite a few worlds and read plenty of novels on the subject, was also no stranger to these concepts. However, because she had to deal with Paimon's endless stream of curious questions beside her, Lumine took a bit longer to read through everything.
After finishing the announcement, Guixu decided to test out sending a message. While he was in Little Garden, he had heard about the technology born in the mortal world; this chat group should be something similar. After fiddling with it for a moment, Guixu figured out how it worked. He used his consciousness to edit a message and sent it out.
[Guixu: "Hello, everyone."]
Guixu's single sentence instantly drew out all five existing members of the group.
[Group Owner — Beautiful Girl Tiantian: "Hello! Could you please introduce yourself? I don't think I've ever seen any media or information products about you."]
In a world undergoing an aura revival, a white-haired loli girl in pajamas was curled up in her exquisite little bed, typing out her message with a puzzled expression. *Guixu...* She had never heard that name before. Could he be from some web novel?
[Daigo: "Oh? The Group Owner ran into an unfamiliar work so soon?"]
[Stelle: "Hehe, Tiantian little sister was just claiming to be a veteran anime fan and a seasoned bookworm, but now she's hit a brick wall! (Pom-Pom shows contempt)"]
[Group Owner — Beautiful Girl Tiantian: "There are so many works out there, I haven't read every single one! Besides, not every world has information exchange products."]
Glancing at the chat, Guixu paid no mind to the Group Owner who was asking for an introduction. He had scrolled up a bit in the chat history and noticed that everyone else seemed to have introduced themselves, so he naturally followed suit.
[Guixu: "My name is Guixu, and I'm from Little Garden. However, due to certain reasons, I've now come to the Teyvat continent and am currently traveling with Lumine."]
Seeing the message in the chat, Zhuge Tiantian, lying on her bed, sat straight up! Her small face was filled with delightful surprise as she hurriedly typed out a question in the group.
[Group Owner — Beautiful Girl Tiantian: "Is... is it that Little Garden, the amusement park built by the gods? The one with Byakuren... I mean, White Yaksha?"]
Guixu raised an eyebrow, genuinely surprised that the Group Owner actually knew about Little Garden.
[Guixu: "That's right, that very Little Garden. But when did Xiaobai change her name to White Yaksha? How come I didn't know? Hasn't she always been called the White Night King?"]
Zhuge Tiantian didn't even bother replying right away; she was already wriggling her body on her bed in pure joy, letting out nonsensical giggles.
*"Hehe, a heavyweight big shot has finally arrived in the group!"* *"We don't have to worry about the members' safety anymore!"* *"That's Little Garden we're talking about! And he can casually call a two-digit out-of-tier entity like White Yaksha 'Xiaobai'—he definitely isn't weak."* *"Hehe... Big shot..."*
Watching the chat remain silent for a long time, Guixu wondered what everyone was up to.
At last, after a long while, the chat sprang into life. Daigo, having clicked on Guixu's avatar, sent a message filled with utter shock!
[Daigo: "!!!"] [Daigo: "A Tier 8 big shot! ! !"]
In an instant, the others clicked on Guixu's avatar as well, sending a neat chorus of sharp gasps.
[Stelle: "Gasp~~"] [Fujimaru Ritsuka: "Gasp~~"] [Sakura: "Gasp~~"]
Right there in Guixu's profile information, the prominent characters "Tier 8" were glaringly displayed.
The chat group divided the power scaling of the Myriad Realms into ten tiers:
Tier 1 was the Mortal Realm, focusing on tempering the physical body and refining blood qi. Even if someone could fight a hundred or a thousand foes single-handedly, as long as they hadn't stepped into transcendence, they were still considered Tier 1. Ordinary humans with no real strength also fell into this category.
Tier 2 was the Transcendence Realm, marking the beginning of cultivating extraordinary power. Beings who unlocked superhuman abilities and embarked on the path of evolution were distinct from mortal vessels. Their overall combat capability was roughly enough to destroy a city block, though there were exceptions—such as certain systems not suited for direct combat.
Tier 3 was the Soul-Fusion Realm, where cultivators began touching upon the soul, resulting in a substantial boost in combat prowess. Their strength was roughly capable of destroying some small-to-medium-sized cities.
Tier 4 was the Return to One Realm, where essence, energy, and spirit all returned to the self, marking the foundation of transcending mortality. Their combat power could destroy large cities.
Tier 5 was the Law Realm, bringing about a qualitative transformation as one began touching upon the laws of heaven and earth. Combat strength experienced a qualitative leap, making the destruction of mountains and parting of seas effortless. Every step forward from this point was as difficult as ascending to the heavens.
Tier 6 was the Dominion Realm, where one mastered a single law and condensed their own conceptual position, allowing them to raise divine flames and ascend to a divine throne.
Tier 7 was the Lord God Realm, where one completely reached the absolute limit of a single law. Wielding that law exclusively, blessed with boundless lifespan, their strength stood at the very pinnacle of a single universe.
Tier 8 was the Transcendental Realm, surpassing the shackles of a single universe and capable of independently shuttling through the Sea of Universes. Having freed oneself from the constraints of destiny and time, with no parallel counterparts remaining, all selves converged into one. Wielding the power of creation and destruction at a whim was child's play.
Tier 9 was the Multiversal Realm, placing one among the ranks of those who roam freely across the multiverse, striding unhindered through the Sea of Universes and ignoring cosmic disasters.
Tier 10 was the Tier 10 Lord of the Universe, the master of an entire cluster of multiverses. Only one such master of absolute transcendence was born every single great kalpa cycle.
After leaving the world of Little Garden, through comprehension, recovery, and the World Tree's bestowal, Guixu had experienced a blessing in disguise and recovered to Tier 8. Before leaving Little Garden, he had been a two-digit out-of-tier entity, practically at the peak of Tier 8—though that had been with Little Garden's amplification. Upon leaving the Little Garden macro-universe, his Terminal was no longer the Terminal of Little Garden; lacking that established conceptual backing, his strength had dropped significantly. Over the past thousand years, he had slowly molded the Terminal back into a divine authority truly belonging to himself, thereby restoring his power.
As for the others, Daigo—the highest among them—was only Tier 3, and even then, a "limping" Tier 3 that only reached that level after transforming into Tiga.
Fujimaru Ritsuka possessed magical energy within her body and knew some magecraft, putting her physical self at Tier 2, though her Heroic Spirit strength wasn't factored in.
Stelle had just stepped out of the space station and had only awakened the Path of Destruction; without unleashing her Stellaron power, she was at Tier 2.
As for Sakura, she didn't even need to be mentioned—she was merely a mortal.
Even the Group Owner, Zhuge Tiantian, was only a Tier 2 who had just stepped into transcendence.
With a Tier 8 big shot suddenly dropping into their midst, it was no wonder they were so shocked.
[Fujimaru Ritsuka: "Gasp!! Big shot, please carry me through the singularities! !"] [Stelle: "Gasp!! A Tier 8 big shot is terrifying!"] [Sakura: "That's wonderful! Big Brother Guixu, can you please help Sakura? In two days, Tohsaka Tokiomi is going to send Sakura to the Matou family. Sakura doesn't want to touch those bugs."]
Inside the Tohsaka residence, a little black-haired girl was sitting on her bed, her face wearing a pitiful expression full of hopeful yearning.
Ever since she joined the group, Tiantian elder sister had sent the relevant works concerning the group members into the chat, allowing Sakura to learn of her own tragic future. Although she was very young, she could clearly tell who was good to her and who wasn't. If she had previously considered Tohsaka Tokiomi a qualified father, watching those videos had made it impossible for her to view him as such ever again.
She wanted to change her future, too. Although everyone in the group had offered to help, she also knew that everyone's points were scarce, and Big Brother Daigo and Big Sister Ritsuka were facing crises of their own. Tiantian elder sister's aura revival world was also constantly threatened by fierce beasts. If everyone pooled all their points together just to buy a World-Crossing Talisman, Sakura would feel terribly guilty if an accident befell any of them.
Yet now, with the appearance of Guixu—whose strength, according to the chat group's public metrics, made her problem look like nothing more than trivial to him—she finally had hope. As long as she could escape that terrifying worm pit, she was willing to do anything!
From what she had seen of her adult self in the files provided by Tiantian elder sister, she would grow up to be quite pretty. If Big Brother Guixu was willing, she wouldn't mind serving him like a beast of burden in the future to repay him.
Clenching her tiny fists, Sakura made up her mind in secret.
Glancing at the messages in the chat, although the Group Owner hadn't replied yet, Sakura's plea caught Guixu's attention. Frowning, Guixu clicked on Sakura's avatar.
He saw a cute little black-haired girl carved out of jade, wearing a purple dress and smiling happily.
Guixu's expression froze for a moment. *A child?*
Guixu scrolled through the files sent by the Group Owner in the chat and found the work related to Sakura. Opening the file titled *Fate/Zero*, he located the sections concerning Sakura and swept through the work rapidly with his consciousness.
As he read on, Guixu's expression grew increasingly gloomy, rage visibly churning in his eyes. Especially when he saw the heinous, unforestable atrocities the old worm had committed against the young Sakura, and those nauseating swarms of insects—every single detail grated on Guixu's last nerve.
Having a daughter like Klee of his own, he held a special fondness for children, and his fury was reaching a boiling point.
*That old bastard has brought this upon himself!* *If I don't annihilate his soul, this deity will never find peace!*
