After Kachina had helped them each find their rooms and finished tidying up, she went to the kitchen to prepare some food. Kachina was the second-eldest child in her family. Her father pinned most of his hopes and expectations on her older sister, while her mother had to take care of her much younger sister. Because of this, Kachina had decided from a very young age to take care of herself and grow up fast... or at least to give her parents one less thing to worry about.
