The abundant energy of the Bedrock Key caused the barrier walls to shimmer with a warm golden glow, while the distant, newly designated relocation zone in the Fontaine waters carried the faint roar of machinery—another batch of Natlan refugees was entering the landing buffer zone through the large portal opened by Lumine, the orders of the Millelith echoing through the mist to maintain order. Inside Limeng's temporary workshop, however, the atmosphere was somewhat stagnant. A half-man-tall, iron-gray metal box sat heavily on the wooden table, with several thick copper wires snaking out from its interface to connect to a few bulky earpieces and microphones.
