After the Man in the Black Mist launched his attack, the freezing power of the ice pillar spread outward like a surging tide. The Guardians and the Family Envoys quickly cast their Spiritual Energy Shields to fend off the piercing chill. However, the intensity of the cold continued to mount, and cracks began to appear in the shields under the onslaught. "Everyone be careful, this power is getting stronger and stronger!" the Little Girl shouted as a warning. She pushed the power of the Divine Orb to its absolute limit, enveloping the orb in a multicolored radiance in an attempt to dispel the surrounding cold. The light of the Divine Orb collided with the freezing force, emitting a sizzling sound and forming a layer of white mist where the two forces met. The Family Elder did not sit idle either. He drew an ancient talisman from his robe and chanted an incantation under his breath. The talisman burst into flames in his hand, transforming into a golden fire that hurtled toward the ice pillar. Upon contact, the golden flame temporarily suppressed the glow of the runes on the ice pillar, but it was quickly extinguished by the biting chill.
