Dark Power surged into the hall like a black tide through the cracks in the walls, rapidly spreading across the space. This Dark Power transformed into various forms of monsters: some resembled gigantic black spiders with sharp, long legs and glowing red eyes; others looked like human-like ghosts, ethereal in form yet radiating a terrifying aura; and still others appeared as black smoke, constantly shifting shapes as they attempted to entangle the Guardians and the Envoys.
"Everyone be careful, these dark monsters are not to be taken lightly!" the Little Girl shouted as a warning. She raised the Divine Orb, which burst into multicolored light, temporarily driving back the surrounding darkness. However, the Dark Power surged in endlessly, soon pressing the light back down.
The Family Elder waved the staff in his hand, chanting under his breath. The gem atop the staff emitted a golden radiance that transformed into glowing runes, which flew toward the dark monsters. Upon striking the monsters, the runes burst into crackling sounds, and some of the weaker dark monsters dissipated under their attack.
