Determination flickered in his eyes, and beads of sweat on his forehead glistened under the dim light. As they drew closer to the center of the warehouse, they could faintly hear the sound of hushed voices. It was a low, muffled murmur, like whispers rising from the depths of hell. They slowed their pace, moving with extreme caution and using the surrounding cargo as cover to inch toward the source of the sound. Their bodies pressed tight against wooden crates, they shuffled sideways, each movement slow and deliberate. Finally, they spotted several criminal leaders huddled together, whispering over something. The faces of these men were twisted into expressions of cunning and malice, their eyes alight with greed and cruelty. Some shifted their gazes incessantly, scanning the surroundings as if wary of a threat, while others, bloated and red-faced with excitement, gestured wildly in the air, emphasizing some crucial point. They were entirely oblivious to the fact that danger had arrived at their side, as silent as a leopard stalking in the shadows.
