Reaching the third cross-pipe, Liang Song felt the atmosphere grow significantly tenser. He cautiously rounded a corner, and a metal canister the size of a football appeared before him. In the darkness, the canister emitted a cold, metallic sheen, looking like a dormant monster. Liang Song’s heart sank; he knew this was likely the device the enemy intended to use to release the terror strain.
