After He Chenguang had hidden himself, the drone began searching the area for any sign of Liang Song. Inside the command and control center, everyone was staring intently at the monitors. After the drone completed a full sweep, Liang Song remained nowhere to be found. The atmosphere in the command center began to shift, growing heavy and intangible. Kang Lei could not help but mutter, "Where is Liang Song?" His heart began to tighten. Although this was their dedicated military simulation field where accidents were virtually impossible, they were still in the wilderness; no one could predict if an unexpected situation might arise. Before they had set out, both Liang Song and He Chenguang had been tagged with signal emitters. Yet, at this moment, the light representing Liang Song’s position, which had been clearly visible, suddenly vanished, leaving only a blank space on the screen. The drone, despite its erratic flight patterns, could not track him down either.
