The legendary "Might Guy" had finally arrived, as eagerly awaited as the stars and the moon!
Might Guy went first to collect the mission details and handle the paperwork.
Wu Ying strode directly up to Tenten.
Pulling her into a tight embrace, he murmured, "My dear niece, I've finally met you."
Tenten was momentarily stunned, her face flushing crimson as she stood at a complete loss.
Kaoumi looked Tenten up and down, massaged her temples in defeat, and then stepped forward to tug at the hem of Wu Ying's sleeve.
Wu Ying released Tenten and patted her on the head instead.
He added, "Don't be so stiff and guarded, or you won't get your owl letters."
Having finished the paperwork, Might Guy scratched the back of his head and asked, "I don't know this gentleman's name yet."
"No need to call me gentleman, my name is Wu Ying, and this is my younger sister, Kaoumi. There's no need for Mr. Guy to introduce himself, I know all of you."
Wu Ying looked over at Neji after speaking.
Well, how to describe it—he gave off a gloomy aura, much like Sasuke.
Without any further pleasantries, the group set off in the direction of the Konoha gates.
Might Guy turned back to look at Tenten and asked, "Tenten, is he your uncle?"
Tenten massaged her temples with a sigh. "No."
At the same time, she looked curiously at Kaoumi.
Because today, little Huimei was dressed very similarly to her, also wearing her hair in twin buns.
Huimei wore a Tang-style top on her upper body, paired with a pleated skirt that ended just over her knees.
Seeing Wu Ying and Might Guy walking ahead, Kaoumi dropped back a few paces to walk side by side with Tenten.
After exchanging greetings, Kaoumi began telling Tenten all sorts of things about Wu Ying.
It was rare to run into a peer whom Wu Ying treated with such special consideration.
From time to time, Tenten cast curious glances at Wu Ying's back.
Listening to Kaoumi's account, she also began to feel that this older man had a screw loose.
After completing all the registrations at the gate, Might Guy flashed his signature blinding white teeth and gave a thumbs-up.
"Lee, Neji, Tenten, burn with passion! Let us begin our youthful mission..."
Wu Ying stared at Guy's white teeth for a moment, confirming that they really had just flashed like polished chrome.
The corners of his mouth twitched, and he silently stepped a little further away from Guy.
Tenten sighed and massaged her temples. Teacher Guy really was incorrigible, showing off without a shred of shame.
Neji kept a blank expression and didn't respond at all.
Only Rock Lee shouted at the top of his lungs, "I can feel my youth boiling over! Oh!"
Amidst this noisy and lively atmosphere, Wu Ying's party arrived at the carriage convoy's staging area.
Wu Ying gave a few instructions to Instructor Yamada, primarily regarding the escort of Steward Uesugi back to the Land of Tea.
Fending off Instructor Yamada, Wu Ying walked over to Guy's side and asked, "Mr. Guy, how many days will it take us to reach our destination with this convoy?"
Might Guy looked at the convoy, scratched his head, and flashed his white teeth as he said, "About three or four days."
Wu Ying massaged his temples. Perhaps Guy calculated based on his own running speed, sighing inwardly...
"No need to rush too much, we can just take our time. We might even run into some acquaintances."
Kaoumi suddenly chimed in, "Is it not a joy to have friends coming from afar?"
Since she had spoken in Chinese, Guy and Rock Lee just stood off to the side foolishly grinning, likely paying no attention to them whatsoever.
Neji turned to glance at Kaoumi again and promptly ignored her.
Tenten, on the other hand, grew lively, linking her arm through Kaoumi's.
Amidst a flurry of chatter, they finally set off.
Might Guy and Rock Lee were actually quite normal, without any overly hot-blooded or ridiculous antics.
Kaoumi and Tenten chattered away with great enthusiasm, casting occasional glances back at Wu Ying.
Tenten's gaze sometimes held contempt, sometimes a trace of admiration, or perhaps a hint of romantic longing...
Tanzaku Quarter.
Two days ago, Tsunade had already grown rather impatient and her temper had flared even higher; she desperately wanted to punch that so-called thief.
All because she had finally managed to scrape together some money over the past two days, only to lose it all again once she couldn't control her urges.
Going to the publishing house yielded no answers either, and if Shizune hadn't been holding her back, Tsunade would have exploded long ago.
Today, she could finally take no more and decided to return to the village she had left many years ago to take a look, and incidentally fish out that thief.
Three days passed in the blink of an eye.
Wu Ying's convoy finally spotted a road sign pointing toward the Tanzaku Quarter, marking the distance as 10 kilometers.
He looked up at the sun; it seemed they would arrive by afternoon.
Wu Ying was in no hurry now, and called for everyone to rest in the shade of the trees.
Taking his vertical bamboo flute, he walked over to little Huimei, who looked up at him.
Knowing this older brother was likely acting up again, she sighed and asked, "What do you want to hear?"
"Let's go with that piece 'May We Live Long Together.' You practiced so hard for it a while back, try playing it by yourself with Chakra now."
The low, melodious prelude began...
Wu Ying suddenly realized he had a musician, but was missing a singer.
He found himself missing Karin.
Should he just abduct Tenten instead? He couldn't help but look intently at Tenten for a moment.
This peace-loving little girl ought to...
Wu Ying rubbed his cheeks and reined in his stray thoughts.
He noticed Might Guy standing in the middle of the road, gazing toward the Tanzaku Quarter.
Without bothering to use his spiritual perception to scout ahead, Wu Ying looked over with matching curiosity.
He watched as two figures grew steadily clearer.
As they drew closer, the figures revealed their complete appearances.
The shorter one had pale golden hair tied into a ponytail, light brown eyes, and pale red lips; a blue-and-purple mark on her forehead only added to her exquisite features.
She wore a loose, sleeveless tea-green top with a slightly open collar, showcasing an impossible-to-ignore fullness...
A black cloth belt was tied around her waist.
She wore blue capri pants and flat-soled high-heeled sandals on her feet.
The other had short dark-gray hair, a black outer robe, and was holding a tiny, pink pig...

Once Wu Ying recognized who they were, he silently stepped over to Guy's side.
While Tsunade and Shizune were still some distance away, Might Guy suddenly grew excited.
"Ah! It's Lady Tsunade!"
Hearing this, Tenten and Kaoumi bolted over like lightning.
Tenten's eyes sparkled with stars of sheer disbelief.
As for Kaoumi, her face was full of curiosity—was she about to meet her prospective sister-in-law?
Wu Ying's mouth twitched as he silently took a step back.
Tsunade and Shizune looked up.
"Might Guy?" Shizune asked with a hint of confusion.
Might Guy nodded, then looked at Tsunade and said, "Lady Tsunade, are you planning to return to the village?"
Tsunade took another step closer without answering, casting a casual glance over the convoy resting in the shade.
"Guy, where is your mission taking you?"
Might Guy scratched his head and replied, "Tanzaku Quarter."
Tenten had sneaked over to Tsunade's side at some point.
Staring curiously at that voluptuous figure, she stealthily extended a mischievous finger and poked her.
Seeing this, Wu Ying massaged his temples in resignation; truth be told, he really wanted to do that too...
"Ahem, Tenten, there's no need to be so excited just because you're meeting your idol."
Tsunade's appearance truly was far too deceptive.
As Wu Ying prepared to greet them, Kaoumi immediately walked up to Tsunade and gave a slight bow:
"Hello, Sister-in-law..."
Wu Ying hurried forward to cover Kaoumi's mouth, offering an awkward smile.
"Hello, Tsunade. And hello to Shizune and Tonton too."
The tiny pink pig in Shizune's arms let out a grunt by way of greeting.
Tsunade and Shizune cast their gazes over, a hint of bewilderment in their eyes.
They didn't seem to recognize this person.
However, Tsunade suddenly snapped to her senses, narrowing her eyes slightly as she stared at Wu Ying.
