Chapter 1

Lu Lei opened his eyes to a world of hazy white silk.
He blinked, his mind still a fog. "Where am I? Wasn't I up all night playing games? How did I end up lying here?"
Before he could react, a fragrant breeze brushed against his face.
He looked up to find a beautiful woman with porcelain skin and jade-like features reclining nearby, reading from a book.
Her hair was half-undone, her brows as delicate as a painting. She wore a robe of translucent white gauze that clung to her skin, revealing the alluring curves of her body—reminiscent of the soul-stealing fox spirits from ancient tales.
The cover of the book she held was titled: *Manual for Dual Cultivation Rituals*.
"At the onset of Dual Cultivation, the cauldron must be stirred to passion, filled with affection and surging vitality, before both parties can embark upon the Great Way."
The following pages contained examples on how to stir a cauldron's heart.
The woman tilted her head, a flash of curiosity in her enchanting eyes. "Is this how it’s done?"
Her gaze rippled. Her fingertips gently caught the collar of her robe and, following the illustrations in the book, she slowly slid it down.
The white garment slipped to her shoulders, exposing a stretch of creamy skin. Half-covered, half-revealed, the sight was indescribably tempting, beckoning one to explore further.
She ran the tip of her tongue over her lips, leaving a trail of glistening crimson, then beckoned to Lu Lei with a crooked finger.
"Junior Brother… come here, let Senior Sister pamper you~"
Her voice was slightly husky, like a rose drenched in night dew—one gentle press, and it would yield intoxicating nectar.
Lu Lei could hardly handle such a scene. He felt a sudden heat in his nose; he reached up to touch it and found his hand covered in blood. Below his waist, his vitality surged uncontrollably.
The woman watched Lu Lei’s reaction with delight—the book had been right after all.
"Damn it! A nosebleed!"
Lu Lei scrambled to cover his nose, his mind racing. "What is going on? Did I transmigrate into an erotic movie?"
But then, was this beauty not very bright? Why did she need to read a book to do that sort of thing?
Just as he tried to stand, a sharp pain pierced his head, and a wave of foreign memories flooded his mind.
He had transmigrated into a fantasy world as an outer disciple of the Huanhuan Sect, sharing the same name as himself.
The bewitching Senior Sister before him was none other than Zhou Muxue, a Spirit Spring Realm expert from Yunyu Peak. She specialized in the *Yin-Yang Profound Feminine Art*, which allowed her to boost her cultivation by harvesting the male primordial yang and spiritual energy.
"Harvesting?!"
Lu Lei sobered up instantly. "This isn't 'pampering' me—this is going to kill me!"
He glanced down at himself; his previously surging vitality had shriveled in sheer terror.
Zhou Muxue, her focus entirely on the manual, failed to notice Lu Lei’s change.
"Before Dual Cultivation, one must perform the ritual of bathing in incense to cleanse the body and mind, in preparation for the union of Yin and Yang."
She flicked a finger, and an incense burner nearby ignited instantly.
"The incense is lit. Junior Brother, please proceed with the bathing ritual as instructed."
Lu Lei stood frozen, howling internally. "Bathe? If I bathe, I’ll be drained dry!"
He desperately tried to think of a way to escape his predicament.
Seeing Lu Lei standing motionless, Zhou Muxue frowned, opened her book, and read solemnly.
"Chapter Two, Article Three of the *Manual for Dual Cultivation Rituals*: Both parties must maintain a positive attitude and high spirits during the ritual. Slacking off is strictly prohibited."
Zhou Muxue looked up at Lu Lei, her tone stern. "Junior Brother, hurry and bathe. Otherwise, I shall mark it as slacking off and a violation of the rules."
Slacking off?
Senior Sister, are you harvesting energy or running a company with a punch-in clock?
You even have a rulebook?
Are all those rules custom-made for me?
Isn't this manual just a list of predatory terms? Don't you even ask for the other party's opinion?
Lu Lei wanted to cry, and just as he began to protest, Zhou Muxue didn't give him the chance. She waved a jade hand, and a bolt of spiritual energy struck Lu Lei, shattering his clothes into rags. Before he could even cover his vital parts, a gentle force shoved him into the pool behind him.
"Senior Sister! Let's talk about this! I'm not ready!" Lu Lei shouted, struggling in the water.
But all he got in response was a dizzying whirlwind. That spiritual energy engulfed him, tossing him about in the pool like a laundry machine. He felt as if his brains were being shaken out.
"Senior Sister… stop… I’m… okay… ready… I’m clean enough…"
If she didn't stop, he would be dead before the harvesting even began.
Soon, the dazed Lu Lei was pulled before Zhou Muxue by her spiritual energy.
"Eh? Why is your vitality gone?" Zhou Muxue stared at him, puzzled.
Lu Lei shyly covered himself, rolling his eyes as he suppressed a wave of nausea. Anyone would be finished after being put through that.
Lu Lei decided to play dead. As long as he didn't move, she couldn't drain him.
Seeing Lu Lei in a half-dead state, Zhou Muxue became flustered and opened the book again for help.
"Chapter Three, Article Seven: If the cauldron is impotent, one may stimulate his spirit through charm or illusion."
Impotent?
Who’s impotent! This is a strategic retreat!
Lu Lei was about to retort when he felt a soft touch on his lips, followed by a rush of heat through his body. An inexplicable urge overwhelmed his reason, causing him to embrace his Senior Sister, his hands wandering restlessly.
"Hey…"
"No! That's not right! Wait. Let me check the next step."
Zhou Muxue was overwhelmed by the sudden touch. Blushing, she panicked and pushed him away with one hand, while frantically turning the pages with the other.
The *Manual for Dual Cultivation Rituals*, Chapter Four, Article One: "To begin the Dual Cultivation, one must connect the energy meridians and merge the divine sense with the cauldron. Induce resonance of spiritual energy; only when the Yin and Yang energies are in perfect harmony may the cauldron’s primordial yang be guided into the dantian to strengthen one's cultivation."
Zhou Muxue’s eyes lit up in realization. She pulled the restless Lu Lei close and pinned him down.
"Ah… this… feeling… is so strange. Why isn't this in the book?"
Although Zhou Muxue was a Spirit Spring Realm cultivator, this was her first time engaging in Dual Cultivation.
With a flushed face, she opened the manual and, following the instructions, channeled the *Yin-Yang Profound Feminine Art*. Her fingertips glowed with a trace of spiritual energy, which flowed into Lu Lei’s meridians, slowly linking them together.
She moved her palm to rest gently on Lu Lei's dantian, and the spiritual energy began to circulate faster.
Soon, Lu Lei’s primordial yang and spiritual energy were drawn out by a powerful suction, flowing from his dantian and through her palm into her body.
His primordial yang turned into a wisp of golden light, forming a thin ribbon between them.
Zhou Muxue closed her eyes in concentration, her breathing growing rapid, the flush on her face deepening.
Her palm trembled slightly as the flow of spiritual energy accelerated.
As Zhou Muxue intensified her efforts, Lu Lei’s primordial yang was completely drained, leaving him a withered, skeletal husk.
"So this is what it feels like to harvest…"
At last, the Dual Cultivation ended. Zhou Muxue stood up, blushing, dressed herself, and left.
When Lu Lei finally woke from the charm’s effects, he found himself dressed and lying on a bed.
"It's over... I'm really a dried-up husk now…"
Lu Lei felt his withered, powerless state and closed his eyes in despair.
"Everyone else who transmigrates becomes a legendary hero; I transmigrate to become a dried-up husk? What kind of script is this!"
Just then, a mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
"Ding! Host's life force detected as exhausted. Body Refining System activated!"
