The space inside the hall was much larger than it appeared from the outside, with all four walls made of crystal-clear profound ice. The floor was covered with some kind of white animal skin that felt soft and comfortable to the touch. Countless ice crystals hung from the vaulted ceiling, refracting colorful light and making the entire hall look like a dream. The most eye-catching feature was an ice sculpture in the center of the hall—a phoenix poised to spread its wings and take flight, so lifelike that it seemed it might break through the ice at any moment.
