A violent storm of fire spirit energy exploded, with Yanxin at its center. Lu Lei was sent flying several yards back by the blast. When he struggled to his feet, the sight before him made his blood run cold.
Yanxin was standing on its hind legs. Its horns had surged by three feet, and scarlet patterns had morphed into golden runes that covered its entire body. Its beast eyes had completely transformed into two orbs of burning, bloody flames, devoid of any trace of reason. Most terrifying of all was the vertical, blood-colored eye that had manifested on its forehead, pulsing with a heart-stopping aura.
