Before Fudge could completely sort out his thoughts, he found himself facing a brand-new trouble. Other newspapers besides the Daily Prophet were reporting on the incident, and they even published a photo Fudge had received earlier. Although it wasn't the exact same photograph, it was clearly of the same style, and one could plainly see Peeves in the picture splashing things onto the Aurors. Then there were the Ministry Aurors, who had mysteriously and collectively passed out near the school gates of Hogwarts. In short, today's Ministry of Magic had once again become the laughingstock of the entire British wizarding world. Quite a few wizards were questioning the competence of the Aurors, even suggesting that it was precisely because of their dismal standards that they were utterly incapable of capturing the escaped Death Eaters.
