Inside the Defense Against the Dark Arts Office on the second floor of Hogwarts Castle, Professor Rowena Smith looked down at the parchment in her hands, then raised her head in surprise to look at Albert. The young student standing before her had merely glanced at the Ancient Runes on the parchment she had handed him and was able to provide an answer instantly.
Even though Albert had achieved remarkable accomplishments in Ancient Runes, Professor Smith did not believe he could translate them on the spot. The only possibility was that he knew them or had seen them before. After all, Professor Brod had a very good relationship with Albert; if that professor had once shown Albert something similar, it wouldn't be strange for him to provide a translation at first glance.
