Before leaving, Albert glanced back at the woods behind him and said to Hagrid, "The centaurs probably make no distinction between wizards and Muggles. Those fellows would rather be recluses above worldly affairs, complete bystanders."
Hagrid, walking ahead, suddenly stopped, glanced back at Albert, looked around, and said, "Centaurs are indeed not easy to get along with. I've been at Hogwarts for many years before learning how to deal with them."
"I've browsed literature on centaurs in the library. They are quite proficient in magical healing, divination, archery, and astronomy."
